Historia
Despite the uncomfortably claustrophobic quarters and rapidly dropping temperature, Christa believes they'll be safe as they wait out the storm. She couldn't be more wrong. Deep in the night, their tour guide goes missing...only to be discovered the following morning, his severed head impaled on a tree outside the cabin. Terrified, and completely isolated by the storm, Christa finds herself trapped with eight total strangers. One of them kills for sport...and they're far from finished.

very monotonous

The badger isn't bad. The hero is sub par and the story line just isn't believable.

Historia
In 2008, nine mountaineers failed to return from a winter backpacking trip in the New Mexico mountains. At their final campsite, searchers found a bizarre scene: something had appeared at the door of their tent so terrifying that it impelled them to slash their way out and flee barefoot to certain death in a blizzard. Despite a diligent search, only six bodies were found, two violently crushed and inexplicably missing their eyes. The case, given the code name “Dead Mountain” by the FBI, was never solved. Now, two more bodies from the lost expedition are unexpectedly discovered in a cave.

So Disappointing
Revisado: 08-31-23
I love these two authors, but this is the most uninspired book they have put out to date. if you know the story of the Dyatlov Pass incident, then you've heard all this before. Nothing original, just plugging in a few functional details and moving it to the US. What happened to books like Relic, Thundrehead, Riptide, and Cabinet of Curiosities? I feel like they just wanted a quick buck on this one, and I wish I could get mine back. I hardly ever leave reviews, and I truly love these authors, so it pains me to leave this, but I had to let others know.

Historia
Founded by the mysterious genius known as the Designer, the archipelago of Prospera lies hidden from the horrors of a deteriorating outside world. In this island paradise, Prospera’s lucky citizens enjoy long, fulfilling lives until the monitors embedded in their forearms, meant to measure their physical health and psychological well-being, fall below 10 percent. Then they retire themselves, embarking on a ferry ride to the island known as the Nursery, where their failing bodies are renewed, their memories are wiped clean, and they are readied to restart life afresh.

so disappointing

This is such a jumbled up mess of ideas and thoughts it was hard to follow. I really enjoyed the Passage, but this is just a writer trying to build something epic and failing miserably. Wish I could return it.
