Historia
Summer has come to Niflheim. The lichens are growing, the six-winged bat-things are chirping, and much to his own surprise, Mickey Barnes is still alive—that last part thanks almost entirely to the fact that Commander Marshall believes that the colony’s creeper neighbors are holding an antimatter bomb, and that Mickey is the only one who’s keeping them from using it. Mickey’s just another colonist now. Instead of cleaning out the reactor core, he spends his time these days cleaning out the rabbit hutches. It’s not a bad life. It’s not going to last.

Maybe just read the first one as a stand alone...
Revisado: 04-03-25
The first in this series wasn't exactly an intellectual masterpiece, but it was fun. This one feels like the writer just straight up didn't care. The only way this book was even remotely believable is if space travel causes brain damage resulting in a crew where the highest IQ is about 80. And without the gimmick of the first book to fall back on, this one is just kind of dumb. There just clearly wasn't much thought put into this one. I actually want my money back...

The ninth floor. Nine armies, each led by rich and powerful aliens from across the galaxy. Each team has one objective: to capture and hold the castle at the very center of the battlefield. Strategy, alliances, pitched battles, and, of course, betrayal ... It all makes for great fun and even greater television. After all, none of these powerful aliens really die when they’re playing war. Except this time. This time, winner takes all. Those who fall, stay in the ground.

Best read series on all of audible!
Revisado: 03-28-25
Pretty sure I've said this before, but these books are so good that I wanted to reiterate. As a person who listened to audiobooks for about 12 hours a day (because 90% of my work is no brainer construction stuff) for decades, I've listened to literally thousands of audiobooks and performance-wise this is my absolute favorite. It's just plain fun! Highly recommend

Nothing annoys me more than readers who don't know the words...
Revisado: 03-16-25
The reading was actually mostly ok, but toward the end the words "piezo electrical" came up in practically every sentence. Piezo is a word often screwed up, but this guy screwed it up so bad that he added syllables that don't even exist... and he did it over and over and over and over.... It was SO annoying! I wished I could reach through my phone and slap this guy until the word came out right. I mean, if you're a reader and you don't know the word, LOOK IT THE F UP!... Other than that, it was a very interesting read and at very least, content worthy of experimentation.

By far the best music biz book I've found
Revisado: 02-13-25
This book is absolutely packed with info! Put it this way, if you made a cliff notes version, it would be almost as long as the book. I am going to make it a habit of listening to the corresponding chapters before every phase as I build my music career and promote my music projects (Threat of Paradise and A Mask of Many 😉). Ari freaking rocks! ✌🏼🫶🏼🤘🏼

A bit heavy on the fandom
Revisado: 02-12-25
The heart eyed fan boy but gets a little old, but all and all pretty interesting. I don't that I'd particularly deeply insightful, but admittedly I'm only half way through at the moment. if you're interested in a documentary style audiobook about the life of MPH and his inspirations then this is definitely the right book. just be ready to listen to a lot of gratuitous praise and a little bit of suspiciously vehement denial of secret society influence (but also some great tidbits of history regarding societies of the same names)

When you use Transurfing goals are not reached, so much as realised for the most part of themselves. It seems impossible to believe but only at first. The ideas presented in the book have already received practical confirmation. Those who have tried Transurfing, experience surprise bordering on delight as the world of the Transurfer inexplicably changes before their very eyes.

Best audiobook I've ever heard
Revisado: 12-20-24
I've been listening to audiobooks for 30 years. I listen all day (8-12 hours) at work every day and on weekends while doing chores. I have every audible badge (except the social media ones because who cares...) so you can believe me when I say, this is hands down the best produced audiobook I have ever heard!

Lucid Dreaming: Gateway to the Inner Self is the account of an extraordinarily talented lucid dreamer who goes beyond the boundaries of both psychology and religion. In the process, he stumbles upon the Inner Self. While lucid (consciously aware) in the dream state and able to act and interact with dream figures, objects, and settings, dream expert Robert Waggoner experienced something transformative and unexpected. He was able to interact consciously with the dream observer.

Author should have read it himself...
Revisado: 08-22-24
Books heavy on personal accounts just sound so fraudulent when read in someone else's voice. Makes me feel like many of the accounts are nothing more than fabrications. You can just feel it when someone is talking about something they haven't experienced personally and since I can't judge based on the authors voice, I have to lean towards the view that many things in this book didn't actually happen the way the author wants us to believe.
I did however give the story a 4 because, as an experienced lucid dreamer, I know how deep all this stuff can go and I did find the accounts compelling... just not believable due to the disconnected reading.

misleading title, no actionable info
Revisado: 05-14-24
Let's be clear, this is 12 chapters NOT 12 books. And it's one somewhat short book at that. It's actually a decent overview on what chatgpt can do, but virtually zero actionable information. This is a book, ONE book, on WHAT chatgpt can do, but no info on HOW to implement it. If your looking to improve your prompts, look elsewhere. The ai reading of this book wasn't bad tho...
