This book is absolutely packed with info! Put it this way, if you made a cliff notes version, it would be almost as long as the book. I am going to make it a habit of listening to the corresponding chapters before every phase as I build my music career and promote my music projects (Threat of Paradise and A Mask of Many 😉). Ari freaking rocks! ✌🏼🫶🏼🤘🏼

Great for anyone at any stage in their music career. Ari breaks things down so anyone can understand the nuances of the industry. Especially useful in teaching real, applicable practices towards monetization and advancing your career. This book is worth my weight in gold. I want to tell everyone about it and yet want to keep it all to myself because of how valuable it has been for my career.

Ari is pleasant to listen to, he's down to earth, well educated and experienced in many aspects of the music business. he's legit and trustworthy (IMHO). This book is so useful that I listened, and partway through, ordered the paper book, because it's worth having as a physical reference. thank you for all you do, Ari (and team).

This edition is a must read and is an excellent foundational handbook for anybody in the biz or trying to get into it. As someone who enjoys the web3 space, I greatly appreciate the depth Ari goes into the world of digital ownership and new frontiers of crypto and sound. Ari also adds a few more segments to this edition that really brings the book up to today’s standards. (At the time of this review: late 2023) I feel like this guide to the music business is fresh; and after listening to the previous edition, I still felt like I learned something new reading this edition. Thanks Ari for your hard work as this greatly helps an independent like myself.

I gift this book to everyone that wants in on the music industry.

I'm actually not currently a "pro" musician, but have a fair amount of experience "small time" in "the industry." This a great guide for anyone looking to be a pro/semi-pro musician. I found the side-stories and examples informative and entertaining! Make sure you check out the "Ari's Take" YouTube channel...but definitely buy this book for an awesome deep dive! You can go from zero to 100 with this one read(listen.)
