Great world building, beautiful prose but FMC problem

Really think this novel is beautiful and insightful about grief and loss. Performance is great. But the FMC is difficult to sympathize with as you learn more about her experiences. The more you learn, the more you realize her selfishness. Maybe this will change? But you spend too much time with her to make it worth a second novel

Great narration, wearisome repetitive story

This was a mixed bag. Excellent narration. Story was interesting and could have been good but it was soooo repetitive and became exhausting. How many times do we need to have essentially the same conversation?

Great conclusion to a sweet couple you can’t but adore. But, the narrators take the story to the stars. Seriously, are there Oscars for voice acting?? So many different characters, each distinctly portrayed by the GOATS James and Stella. Chefs Kiss.

This story is far too long. The plot is interesting and the characters are intriguing, but it needs to be cut in half. The FMC is so incredibly dense and oblivious she is hard to like.

Can’t wait to hear the conclusion but find there is WAY too much annoying crap like Geraldine’s every utterance. While the narrators do a bang up job mostly, Darcy’s performance is almost unbearable.

Ugh I was so disappointed to end this series with this female narrator. Not at all the same level as the previous books.male narrator was great but it’s hard to love it with a weak performance. Story is interesting and fun. Bummer.
