Clear Concise Advice
Revisado: 07-13-23
Please ignore other reviews pointing out the fast paced delivery of this book. It is well thought out, practical and short enough to read repeatedly.
Make notes and if needed listen again.

Great storyline
Revisado: 07-10-21
Great storyline especially the beginning and end. The middle just a little Hemingway like; a flat diary of events. Overall, very rewarding read.

Loved this story
Revisado: 05-01-21
Well written and well told.
I’ve given 5 stars to everything, but just want to point out to Saskia... northern towns like Berwick, Creswick AND Keswick are pronounced with silent W. Pronouncing the W is the sort of mistake that rubs northerners the wrong way because it shows that you have no knowledge of our towns. A tiny bit more attention to detail would make the narration perfect :)

Wow
Revisado: 02-03-21
I’m English living in Australia, I find many Australian authors overdo ‘Aussieness’. Christian just tells a good story, well presented by Caz, that is all that’s needed to grow Australian culture.
I loved it.

Easy listen but a little lightweight
Revisado: 10-24-20
I enjoyed the book and it was well presented. However, it hasn’t got the depth and quality to be called satisfying. Feels a little like a children’s book.
Maybe it is a children’s book?

Historia
Harry Bosch finds himself yet again in charge of a case that no one else will touch. This time his job is to nail the killer of hot shot black lawyer Howard Elias. Elias has been found murdered on the eve of going to court on behalf of Michael Harris, a man the LAPD believes guilty of the rape and murder of a twelve-year-old girl. Elias had let it be known that the aim of his civil case was not only to reveal the real killer but to target and bring down the racist cops who beat up his client during a violent interrogation.

Best American Fiction for a long time
Revisado: 04-19-20
I loved this book. It’s beautiful enough to place Barkley Cove, North Carolina up there with Cannery Row, California and Monroeville, Alabama as locations, fictional or not, where America’s struggles with prejudice are memorialized.
Who knows perhaps ‘Barkley Cove’ may even materialize in future just as Cannery Row has taken shape in Monterey.
