I love the characters. Each one became a great friend or someone I was very fond of. The stories were so real and I had a very hard time to stop listening. Great job to the narrator, who made the stories come alive. Great job to the authors for their creative writing.

What a Great Trilogy of Love Stories

I really loved Amon. He was such a viral, strong, smart, funny, sensitive, and sexy. All the characters were great and the narrators were perfect. Great story, as usual for JA Huss. Anxious for the next one

Another Great Story!

You did it again, Julie! Thank you. I always love your books. Like this one, with its romance, suspense, twists and unexpected endings. I didn’t think I would like it as much because of the cover page. I don’t like skulls, even the pretty painted ones. However, they always say, don’t judge a book by its cover! And they were correct, and after reading it, I get it. The cover makes sense. Anyway, thanks again for your continued great imagination and wisdom to put it on paper. Can’t wait to read the next one.

Mildly Disappointed

First off, I Love, love, love JA Huss’s books. She is my favorite author and I have listened to All of hers books and given 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for every one.
However, this one just didn’t have the same “can’t stop listening” vibe as the others. I’ve thought about it a lot to figure what it was that bugged me.
1st off, I thought Paul’s voice should have been played by Sebastian York or someone with a deeper, sexier voice. I get he was arrogant and condescending, but he read as a very handsome, sexy man, but his voice didn’t match.
2ndly, I was confused about why Syrsee was sent to the Guild and what their purpose was. Leaving her ignorant of what her role as a witch should be and how to handle situations. I did like that her morals/common sense made her keep Ryet alive.
I did love the relationship between Ryet and Syrsee. And how it was love at first sight, which really can happen. It did for my husband and me.
I will read the series when available, because I want to hear the rest of the story.
Julie, I love ya and love your work! Don’t be upset over a few lower reviews. Some didn’t make sense, like not being able to understand what was going on. That was no problem.
Ready for any of your next books. 🩷

Disappointed

I usually love Kendall Ryan’s books, but Book 1 drove me crazy because of Eden. She was too mentally immature to own a professional hockey team. She made poor decisions throughout her story.
I loved Holt and felt sorry he fell for Eden. The narrators were great.
I’ll start Book 2 and see if it gets better and let you know.
