This was the book I never knew I needed! So glad I was able to snag the audiobook during the audible sale because this was so great!
The perfect amount of darkness and mystery, I was kept on my toes while simultaneously having my heart clench for the FMC in this story.
I cant wait to move to the next book in the series.

New To Me Author

This is my first book by Jagger Cole, and I probably would have enjoyed this book much more if I read it vs listening because I wasn't a huge fan of the male narrator's voice, unfortunately.
I will say, I really liked the forbidden aspect of this story! I couldn't wait to see how the FMC and MMC would be caught, but the suspenseful part of the story was compelling as well. Ultimately, the storyline did not disappoint, but the performance slightly did.

I will most likely read another book by this author in the future!

One thing I'll forever love is a duet narration. Especially when it involves Shane East and Stella Hunter! There's something to be said about narrators adding to the enjoyability of the story, and this one was perfection!

The Striker is a brother's rival romance, and I ate it up! Being able to see Scarlett and Asher navigate their relationship while simultaneously having to figure out how to deal with outside influences was so great. I loved that Scarlett was able to see past everyone's opinions of Asher in order to see the true him. These two's chemistry was off the charts and I'm so glad they found their HEA!

This book took us on a long trip that ended in happiness. I really liked being able to see Asher deal with so many issues throughout the story which not only made him a better person, but a better boyfriend as well. He didn't have it easy, and he definitely didn't make it easy to like him, but he earned it in the end. Scarlett had her own stuff to deal with as well and I'm extra happy that Asher played a part in her healing mentally. These two definitely deserved each other and I am so so happy that Ana Huang has officially entered her sports romance ere!

Alexis Paige is SO GOOD!

We love a man obsessed! Ari can invade my life any day of the week and his love for Taylor Swift was perfection. This audiobook was performed so well and I absolutely love Alexis Paige’s voice SO MUCH! Highly recommend.

Unhinged is the name of the game

S. Massery did what S. Massery does best! An unhinged hockey romance surrounding men with questionable morals that you can't help but to love. I ate this one up (twice) and I'm prepared to do so again! Great book!

SO HEALING

I think Lena Hendrix put SOMETHING in this because I was eating it up! I've said it once, and I'll say it again, I AM A KING GIRLY. Sorry Sullivans :).
I really enjoyed how Sloane (and her kiddos) were able to help Abel to heal while also getting control over their own lives. The healing quality of this book was so amazing and I just wanted to squeeze each and every one of them.
But the mysteries that aren't quite answered yet HAVE ME ON EDGE! Can't wait to find out more!

While I wasn't "obsessed" with the male narrator's voice per se, I still thought he did a good job. And Ava Erickson slays at everything she does!! Loved!

Very Repetitive

Unfortunately this one was not for me. I was not a fan of the male narrator (who didn’t even change his voice when he was talking as the FMC). But what stood out to me was the fact that this story was extremely repetitive. I felt like I read the same 3 things over and over again.

UM HELLO?!
CALLING ANA HUANG TO THE STAGE!!

This flipping book was SO GOOD and has bypassed all of Ana’s other books to become my all time favorite. And I was holding out on Twisted Love being my baby forever! Gregory Salinas and Elena Wolfe did the most amazing job narrating this story, and I can truly say that I am a STAN.

Xavier and Sloane were literal perfection for each other. They tested boundaries and truly grew as characters and it had me falling for both of them. I was on the edge of my seat, seriously giddy that these two found each other. So much so that I made sure to finish this audiobook with a pounding headache last night because I was so enraptured.

On a serious note, I really liked seeing how Xavier was able to simply grow up and be an adult when push came to shove. Ana did such a good job at showing his evolving character traits, and it had me smiling from ear to ear.

My heart seriously ached for Sloane. The way people treated her (especially her family) just because of her personality was disgusting. I constantly found myself wanting to jump into the book to…talk… some sense into them. She truly deserved better, and I love that Xavier was able to be that for her.

All in all, this story was everything I could have ever wanted. SO excited for what’s to come!

Under The Stars

Wowowowowowow this book had me absolutely captivated from the very first sentence, and I never looked back! When my professors ask why I didn’t complete my homework yesterday, I’m just going to send them the link to this book!

Georgia and Maddox were just so much fun to read! Their constant banter and different views on life had me hooked and smiling at the story on more than one occasion. Georgia’s personality was just so infectious that I couldn’t help but be as happy as she was. Maddox was his grumpy self, but it worked so well with his girl by his side 🥰. I also love how this story came full circle and Maddox got to address his feelings!

THESE NARRATORS. Andi and Tor are two of my favorites, and the fact that they were able to bring this story to life was so perfect. I’d honestly listen to Andi read someone’s grocery list at this point! Seriously so good!
