Inspirational yet outdated.

After several recommendations I purchased The Magic of Thinking Big. I'm certainly not disappointed with the overall content. For a full 5 star rating the story needs to be updated with current scenarios to bring it into the 21st century
The idea behind the book is to push your self imposed limitations away for growth and success. All valid points.

Hard punch strategies that work.

I enjoyed the way the book is short and to the point. The author is very aware of time and impact. I have listened to many books on sales and several on LinkedIn. This book was able to cut through a lot of the banter you get right to the point. I particularly like the aspect regarding writing of your LinkedIn summary.
The author is very well-versed using LinkedIn from a marketing perspective. The number of contacts needed to generate a conversation with any prospect is clearly outlined in this book and provides a template of success for any sales professional interested in leveraging the LinkedIn platform.

Slow to start however picks up pace significantly a 3rd of the way into the book. The story is mesmerizing as it outlines the brutality Of those hidden enemies that lurk in the shadows.
