The IA narration with mispronunciations, strange pauses, and jerky phraseology was extremely distracting. It was hard to follow the storyline when you’re focusing so hard to understand what’s being said.

A great last sentence to the book, ruined by the editing.

Why do they deliver the last sentence of the book without even a pause before they start playing all the ending commercial information. Their business is to deliver a compelling story. They have ruined what the end of the book could’ve been for me without even giving me a few seconds to digest it before they distract me away from it. How much would it cost them to give a five or 10 second pause?

More fun and more laughs.

There is so much about these books to enjoy. I really appreciate thar the characters are growing and developing and evolving.
The negative feedback from some listeners is confusing to me. I usually listen to each book a second time before proceeding to the next one. When I’ve read the negative feedback and relisten to the book, I do not fine the negative perspective to be my perspective. This series is great.
Book 14 has a more complex storyline. All is explained by the end.

First person writing style without depth.

I am not a fan of this writing style. The story tells me that the characters have developed a deep connection. I just see characters being move through their paces. I have no curiosity about whether or not the story gets better.

Full cast productions with sound effects

I would like to see audio books of this type clearly labeled. The sound effects are distracting and sometimes painful to listen to. I listen to audiobooks for pleasure not for pain.
The sound effects should be augmenting the story line not trying to overpower it and take control.

My star rating for performance and story are inaccurate. I never listen to the story. I just wanted to state my request that audible clearly label the narrated forecast performances so that I can avoid the pain.

Disappointed in myself for finishing the story.

So the bully gets her job back and can continue bullying people at work making their lives miserable.

An aging woman falls and cracks her head open and there’s more dialogue about who gets the house then about the fact that the woman died.
A young woman is traumatized repeatedly by the people in her life and the young man is more interested in about getting her to live with him permanently then what is best for the young woman. She may not want to live in the house where her landlady died. So he’s willing to take control of her life because he has the advantage situationally.
I was not left wanting to know more about these characters or caring how their future went. I’m sad that I wasted my time.

Get past the beginning.

If you give up at the beginning you will miss a very lovely, engaging, heartwarming story. A fun story.
At the start, I thought this was to be a mindless teenage love story full of needles drama. Thankfully that is not the direction this book takes.
