Wow! This Could Have Been About Me

I was hooked from the beginning. This could have easily been my story growing up. At one time, I was headed the wrong way in life. I know the feeling of being at rock bottom and how hard it is to rise back up. Francesca not only rises up, which is difficult to do, but is always looking over her shoulder to the past. Even though I was pretty sure how it was going to end, my emotions were in a turmoil. When the book ended, I sat for the next 20 minutes trying to calm down.
I love the narrator's voice. Very pleasing. Well performed. Made the characters really come to life.
