Not my favorite

Although the storyline is a good one, not every book can be my favorite. My first problem was the narrators didn't seem to be a good fit. The male narrator took too long of pauses so I had to speed the audio up. The writing made me wonder if there was a different editor because this book seemed too repetitive, either repeating what was recently stated, recalling things we already know from previous books, or just written as a summary. The plot line was interesting enough to keep me wanting to listen. I love the world building that this book has and I'm really interested in Galalee (idk how it's spelt as I've only listened to the books) and Alisdair's stories. I want it to continue, I just don't want it to be rushed or too repetitive.

Another great story

She had a slightly different personality than I thought she had in previous books but still a great story. I like that this book focused on the two MCs and only had a few parts with the "pack" but didn't completely ignore the "pack" either. I love that some of it hinted to the next book.

While reading the book, I continuously was trying to figure out who was suspicious and out to get her! The reader sounded amazing and I can't wait to hear more! A high-school witch trying to figure out her way around her magics and a demon who eventualy comes around to not only liking her but more! I need the audio books of the next in the series ASAP!

My only criticism is how quickly the ending came. With all of the build up worrying about Maggie, only for it to be a two or three sentence closure of her still hiding from him felt so sudden and not the ending I was expecting.

I liked the story but the narrator doesn't stage whisper so the volume fluctuates a ton. There are times where I turn up the volume to heat what he's saying and then suddenly rush to turn it down because he's talking normally.
