I already expected to enjoy this, but I loved it even more than I expected. The narration may be the best I’ve heard, the content of the story and the way that it is unfolded is beautifully done. Even though we already know a good deal about what will happen next, I found myself drawn in a way that i couldn’t believe.
Mrs Obama is brilliant, relatable, human, and wise as she expertly gives voice to the history in her personal story. This is the history that preceded her birth into this country as well as the world history that she and her husband created, all while being a down to earth example of all that a little girl can become.
I have purchased the hard copy as gifts for my friends and for my young daughters to have when they are older. Her story is worth sharing!

This is a wonderful writing and performance; a wonderful way to get the Word of God into you mind and soul. Each chapter has a brief discussion about the biblical truths (I.e., God's love / promise) and they are presented with corresponding scripture. I enjoy listening to with my young children at bedtime because this is a quiet way to remind all of us of who we are in God.
