Historia
The once great America now lay in ruins, its people oppressed and controlled. The blame for the devastating EMP attack had been placed on Christian fundamentalists, and the years of tribalism had only fueled the fire of hate towards them. The government needed a common enemy to rally the people, and Christians were the perfect target. Those who dared to practice their faith were now outlaws, forced underground and stripped of their rights to work or participate in society. But even in the midst of persecution, the church held fast to their faith and relied on God more than ever. As armies ...

Very hard to follow
Revisado: 10-30-24
I had hopes for this book, but it was not good enough. It's very hard to follow along and understand the story line.

Historia
What would happen if millions of people around the world suddenly disappeared one day? In this fascinating apocalyptic thriller, best-selling Christian inspirational authors LaHaye and Jenkins pool their considerable talents to answer that question. Narrator Richard Ferrone's unusually deep and hypnotic voice will keep you right in the middle of this not-unimaginable end of the world nightmare.

The undisputed champion of End Times Novels
Revisado: 09-29-24
The Left Behind Series is really beyond awesome!! I highly suggest it!
It's much better than the movies. As a fan of audiobooks I have all 13 books, and now I'm listening to it the second time.
As a Christian Student I enjoy the thoroughness of Biblical Eschatology and the entertainment values of the story.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

The stupidest book
Revisado: 07-10-24
This by far the stupidest book I have ever reviewed. I only wish I could get my money back.

Historia
During an unacknowledged mission inside the Syrian border, a government operative had unwittingly triggered an incredible worldwide event that irrevocably shaped the future of the United States. In the aftermath of the crisis, families have struggled to survive in a world short on food, water, and electricity. Hyperinflation cripples the United States economy, and postwar armored military vehicles are patrolling the streets. One man has now stepped forward and continues to push back the dark wave of tyranny.

Too Realistic
Revisado: 01-06-21
Serpent Road is almost too realistic. With the ever growing wide spread corruption within the U.S. Govt., the ever bold preparations and public rhetoric of China, and the stupidity of greed we have this likely scenario.
If you're like me, you will read between the lines of the story. The relative hardships and brutal realities of life in a land without the Constitution, several invading Armies, brutal crackdowns from our own Govt to control the People, and the cruel tortures of udder poverty. Then they all of that, how do you survive. What measures will be needed, without loosing all of your humanity.
Yes, I highly recommend Tomorrow War & Serpent Road. You might just learn something.
