Historia
When Tanz, the accidental medium, is asked to help in the search for a missing woman, she finds herself at the Cross Bones Graveyard in London’s Southwark. From the outset it’s obvious there is unrest among the spirits who call this place their home, and now Tanz is right in the middle of it. What’s more, she now finds her ‘so-called gift’ is even stronger than it was and the dead really want to talk!

Such a pleasure

This series is such a pleasure. I almost never listen to a book twice but I have for this series and might even go for a third.

Virtual Voice
Revisado: 10-24-24
This book was interesting and it held my attention. I enjoyed the characters and would like to listen to a sequel. What I struggled with was the virtual voice narration. The attempts at inflection and emotion fell flat. Was also very difficult to differentiate between the voices of the characters. Hoping this is not going to become a trend.

Historia
Being on the murder squad is nothing like Detective Antoinette Conway dreamed it would be. Her partner, Stephen Moran, is the only person who seems glad she's there. The rest of her working life is a stream of thankless cases, vicious pranks, and harassment. Antoinette is savagely tough, but she's getting close to the breaking point. Their new case looks like yet another by-the-numbers lovers' quarrel gone bad. Aislinn Murray is blond, pretty, groomed to a shine, and dead in her catalogue-perfect living room, next to a table set for a romantic dinner.

I have fallen in love with Tana French’s style of writing. She has a way to make the words sound like poetry. And the way she takes the inner lives and thoughts of the main cha, exploring how they filter their perception of the case they are working on. I can’t recommend her books highly enough.

Historia
Don Tillman, professor of genetics, has never been on a second date. So when an acquaintance informs him that he would make a "wonderful" husband, his first reaction is shock. Yet he must concede to the statistical probability that there is someone for everyone, and Don sets out to find the perfect partner. She will be punctual and logical - most definitely not a barmaid, a smoker, a drinker, or a late-arriver. Yet Rosie Jarman is all these things. She is also beguiling, fiery, intelligent - and on a quest of her own....
