I read (or listen to) an average of seven books a week. This book is a real standout. It spans over 40 years, two continents and the individual lives of seven people.
You'll cry with happiness, with sadness, with the futility of having knowledge to which the characters you've come to care about are not privy.
You'll reap the benefits of mature characters' wisdom, ache for the naivety of young characters and sigh with relief when they touch each other.
All in all, a great read from an already great author.

Virtual voice is still in its infancy, so forgiveness must be extended for mispronunciations. That said, Michael's journey from being a disgraced former student to being an increasingly innovative programmer while maintaining an elaborate disguise keeps readers on their toes.
I can't wait to get into the sequel.
