Pleasantly surprised!

I’m new to this author and saw an ad on Facebook. It sounded good so I purchased it on audible. I have tried so many different authors and genres recently and none were hitting the spot. This one sure did! In fact, I can’t wait for the other books in this series to come out on audible. So good! Thank you Nina!

Horrible narrator

I don’t generally like to bash an author, or a narrator, because I know this is someone’s living, but the narrator made it really difficult to listen to. Her speech was disjointed, and the miss pronunciations of the most basic of words was frustrating. Although at times her inflections were good and on point she never seem to grasp the male character especially when he was supposed to be angry. As for the story itself, it had a lot of potential, but just didn’t do it for me. First of all constantly talking about the heroin being a warrior and so tough over and over and over again was just too much. It also just got really annoying because that’s all she talked about. If there was a different narrator, I may have moved forward to listen to the next book to see if it was better, but when I saw it was the same narrator, I decided not to.

Just perfect!!!

I love the Shadowlands series so much, but this book was really perfect for me. Getting a little older myself and having gone through a divorce because my ex decided I wasn’t enough and having trust issues as a result really made this story of hope and healing so perfect. Thank you Cherise! ❤️

I could not find a book that held my interest long enough to get past the first couple of chapters until Wolfsgate. It was an intriguing story with more than one hero. And now having met so many characters, I think this is going to be a really great series!

A really sweet story

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book but I was pleasantly surprised. I like the idea that although she saves him early on, they end up saving each other. They do have some major hurdles to overcome though and it was well worth the read.

I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to into a book of characters that went back a generation but I was so pleasantly surprised and am really looking forward to the others in this series. What a fantastic and lovable group of Gentlemen. ❤️

This was a sweet, clean story. The narration was good with only one complaint. He said Viscount wrong through the whole story. Other than that he did a great job. I really enjoyed it and will listen to it again soon.

Good for younger people but not this old lady😬

I liked the idea of this story but it was a little too young for me to fully appreciate. The narrator seemed to exaggerate that aspect. But I do wish there were such a mirror. I’d have traveled to world to take a look in it.

Must more than I expected!

I truly loved this book. It wasn’t just a romance but had a lot of mystery and intrigue. Once I started listening I couldn’t stop. The narration was wonderful as well. I’ll put this on my short list of books that I’ll read multiple times a year.

I really enjoyed this book. It was about forgiveness, redemption, and love finding a way. I’m really glad I read the previous books in the series to tie it all together.
