I loved this book. The performance was amazingly real. It is been so long since I have had a book like this, I used to read all the paperbacks I could about fantasy. Now I can get them on audible! This book is a must listen if you like dragons and magic.

I am very disappointed. I really tried but the story seemed like it was all the mind droppings of a weak female. I have enough voices in my own mind without listening to the ramblings of another. Sorry I really tried.

I felt like I was living it. Beautifully written and captivating.
I was desperate at the ending so I am so grateful the 2nd book was available. Otherwise I would’ve been frustrated enough to give a frustrated bad review. I am fairly new to this writer, and she captivates my mind and plays my emotions. I absolutely love this writer.. I have to say though, anal doesn’t work for me at all.

I loved this story. Super sexy and the end made me cry. I enjoyed listening to Julie “a partner in smutdom” at the end.
I was a grumbler about the epilogue ending, but I understand her thinking. Great! Great! Read!

Ohh my GOD!!

Best two book series I have ever read!
I have no idea how I fell upon this author’s writing but I am so grateful. Although the components were dark and at times heartbreaking, I felt they were all part of a fated journey that made me laugh and cry in the second book. I had no blah blah moments, absolutely no poor writing or boredom as this was beautifully written to encompass darkness and the light that comes after. The only critique I would give is a couple times the sexual positions got lost or hard to believe.
This is like “Outlander”

One thing I absolutely appreciate is a well written story. I didn’t get bored with drivel and I feel like I rode the emotions with the characters. My first time with espionage hit man type of story, but it was a worthwhile venture. I will be looking at more from this author.

This story totally lost me. I am so sad it wandered off into nothing but boring creature descriptions in a library. Once she met the shadow beast, the the story splintered for me. It makes me sad to review like this, but I must be honest. It may very well work for others, but alas, not for me.

Utterly loved it. I was a lovely diversion and The writing style suited me because there was no wasted drivel on inane subject matter. Great job and I will be happy to continue reading this author’s books. Nice little romance.

Oh Yes!

Absolutely loved it. There was not too much blah blah blah weak dialogue and I love the “Narrator “ game that Miranda plays, it was comical and brought in something that I related to. Loved the hard pounding passion. THAT is what dreams are made of♥️. Next time the girl’s voice should female and true to form. Not male and not wimpy. Great job !♥️

Never disappoints me.♥️Fortunately there was not much anal sex which I greatly appreciated . Still very steamy though. I recommend this book!
