AI narration ruined the story

The story could have been 5x better with a REAL narrator. Whether it was poor writting of the story or poor program writing. The AI didn't know when to properly pause in between certain words. how to change it's voice for whispering or loud scenes . sarcasm or joking just gets totally lost. intimate scenes are completely ruined. might as well have my monotonous foaming at the mouth spitting U. S. government teacher read the book. it's 's ruins those scenes that bad that being said i was surprised the ai was hard to tell was a robot when emoting wasn't important.

female narrator made the book hard to get through.

I liked the male narrator except for is impression of the female character got grating at times.

As for the female narrator, Honey, needs some cadence lessons from Professor Higgins! Thank goodness for the speed settings. I had sped her up 1- 2 points faster from normal. I've slowed narrators but rarely do I speed them up to get the story over with. If this wasn't a free read I'm returning it.

Story is getting better and better, narrator needs work. If she has an accent I want to hear an accent. It's what we pay for.

At first hearing I was confused because it sounded like Cam but they were saying it was Dell talking. She's supposed to have a sweet southern USA accent. Like in the first books, then I realized they changed narrators on us. The couple times it sounded like she may have tried when it was mentioned in the book but it wa lacking a great deal. Why change the main character like that? at least give her a slight southern draw. Makes it seem like the narrator didn't do her homework and listen to the previous books. at least the parts where dell is in it, especially the descriptions of her.

It's too short they could have made this book much much longer instead of ending it the way they did. All I'm going to say is I dislike that so much length on top of how it ended so much that I will not continue to read on to see what happens. I see this is a ploy of taking one book and breaking it into a series to squeeze more money out of it. 3hrs isn't worth one credit in my mind if it's not at least 9+hrs I won't think to purchase except for certain exceptions.

The story itself seems like the writer is new at this or just isn't as good of a writer to help you visualize in exact detail that you can immerse yourself in their world. Nora Roberts is just one ex that can do this well without being long-winded or confusing.

The male narrator for Axon reads sooo slow!

The male narrator who read Axon's character, reads sooo slow! I found I had to relisten several time because I kept tuning him out even during the juicy parts! That's pretty hard to do with these types of books. I've listened to all the previous books in the series and have not had this problem. Yes, it's nice to hear new voices but please replace with the same quality! This guy's voice is not sexy almost grating. I wasn't super impressed with any of the other narrator's. I actually haven't gotten through the whole book yet. It'll be a first in this series.

MISLABELED definitely DRAMA

As another reviewer put it was labeled under romance/erotica and it was free with the membership. I normally only get upset when animals are hurt, but this book had me crying through most of it. Mostly because I could relate to the feelings in one form or another. Also, like the previous reviewer I'm looking for a more positive story, I have too much pain in my life I don't want more from they story.

It would make good chick flick, I feel like there were loose ends at the they tried to tie up with hints in a prologue just in case the author decided there was a sequel. I dislike too many loose ends, but that's me.

I found myself tuning the story out because the thick accent made me concentrate significantly. I already have hearing issues, accent can make it much harder.

The story is interesting enough that I have listened to the whole thing when I was really stressed but I focus on his voice and he lulls me to sleep.

I found myself 'building' my island, liking the hammock but not the party. my mind focusing too much on what he was talking about instead of my breathing. maybe the second time around will work better. nothing like the history of math put me right to sleep!
