Interesting history

It was very interesting hearing the Holocaust from the perspective of people that left before the war broke out. It’s still sad and tragic how families were separated. The way the book was written was confusing. It kept switching from past to current which was such a detractor to me. Overall it was a good read.

Captivating

I really enjoyed the testimony and his style of telling his story. At some parts I really laughed and I cried over Gods graciousness at his first prayer. I too experienced people and things being so much more vibrant and alive after being filled with the Holy Spirit. Mr. Klavan did not say he got filled with the Holy Spirit but that sounds like exactly what happened to him. The other experience in his therapist’s office sounds like Holy laughter. God is a Good of Joy! Joy of my joy! Good job Sir!

What a wonderful testimony of a life dedicated to what's at the heart of God. Feeding, clothing, sheltering and fighting selflessly for the needs and rights of others for the sole purpose of gaining their salvation. Lord help us to have such a singular purpose as William Booth had in his lifetime!
