Deadwood, 1876: a notorious little mining town in modern-day South Dakota that was a hive of criminal activity. Thieves, drunkards, prostitutes, and murderers ran rampant among its booming streets. There were over 300 murders in this town during the first year of its existence. When Wild Bill Hickok was brutally shot and killed at point-blank range in the back of the head, it was obvious that someone had to rise up and save the town of Deadwood from itself.

Wow, this title really WAS captivating. It was a fascinating look at the life of Seth Bullock. Though I love history and the Wild West, I had never heard of him before. Great storytelling, interesting facts about the time, and fascinating connections to other well-known figures of the West. The length was perfect, too. Very enjoyable.

I've owned this audio book since 2014 and have listened to it several times. It always puts a smile on my face. Tosha's warm, soothing voice, coupled with her wonderful sense of humor and inspiring stories are touching and beautiful. She's a delight to read as well as listen to.

I have several of Cyndi Dale's books, and she always packs a lot of great information into them. This one was rather short and ended a bit abruptly. Wish it was 2 or 3 times as long. I did get some very good insights from it and thought it was worth the cost. Easy to listen while driving. A keeper!

Yes! It's hysterically funny, yet will also make you think and sometimes cry. Very endearing and it digs deep.
What did you like best about this story?
Loved her voice, she really delivered the content great, and the humor! Oh my gosh, this was a hilarious, wonderful, magical book.
What does Rebecca Gallagher bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She nails the delivery- the inflections, everything. At first I thought the author read it.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. I've read the book twice and listened to the audio book twice.

I wish I had the kinds of friends the author does! Too funny!

Fantastic selection of topics and interesting discussions from the huge catalog of his work. I only wish there was a table of contents somewhere that told me what works I'm listening to. Some are easy to figure out (such as Synchro Destiny) but there were many times I loved what I was hearing but had no idea which of his many audio books and courses the selection was from.
Great value- 1 credit for 20 hours worth of great content is a wonderful deal!

Rob Inglis did an amazing job bringing this wonderful book to life. I love the books, the movies, everything Tolkien. What a joy to be able to listen to it during my long boring commute to work and enjoy it just as much, if not even more!
