Historia
In this apocalyptic thriller, the nation is amid a major financial collapse when the United States is pulled into regional wars in Europe and Asia. Suddenly, phones and internet go out, likely the cause of a cyber-attack by a hostile foreign actor. Unprepared for such a reality, society as we know collapses and chaos is the new normal. As civilization collapses around him, Doug Chapman, a retired Air Force OSI Special Agent and Wisconsin State Trooper, has prepared his family for the worst. But when his community asked him to step up once again to serve as the local law enforcement, he ...

I do not like the AI reading. it is super annoying listening to it. The reading out of gun caliber is laughable "point two two caliber" instead of 22 caliber

one big cliche don't waste your time.
Revisado: 12-24-24
I enjoyed the first two books in the series this one was not at all like the others. This is one large cliche with little interesting to make it tolerable. The story is predicable, and no interesting details to keep you wanting to continue.

Historia
The Lost History of Christianity will change how we understand Christian and world history. Leading religion scholar Philip Jenkins reveals a vast Christian world to the east of the Roman Empire and how the earliest, most influential churches of the East---those that had the closest link to Jesus and the early church---died. In this paradigm-shifting book, Jenkins recovers a lost history, showing how the center of Christianity for centuries used to be the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, extending as far as China.

But the real problem was that Jason's DNA had an additional trait that shouldn't be there... The last time anyone had one of the forbidden DNA ...

I have enjoyed the series but the time taken to tell this story which is basically a battle plan. Not much in the development of story or other earth characters. I will buy the next but if it is the same I will abandon the series.

Good story line cliched approach to regional areas
Revisado: 11-19-21
The story line is interesting. However the series as whole is very cliched. Basically southerners are ignorant, racist, and intolerant. Evangelicals are dumb for believing in God, yet the book has several unexplained miracles that seem to happen for very little reason.
I listened to the whole series but found the need to target people and regions frustrating because the story would have been better without it.

Billy Todd has always been different. Most people called him odd, and those were the nice people. Though he was born with a learning disability, Billy's parents never allowed him to consider himself disabled. Raised to be self-sufficient, Billy might not be as smart as some, but he was a lot smarter than people realized.

Historia
In January 2019, culture writer Anne Helen Petersen set the internet on fire with her viral BuzzFeed essay diagnosing “millennial burnout” - a chronic state of stress and exhaustion that’s become a “base temperature” for young people today. Now, she continues this generation-defining conversation in a brand-new format, interviewing millennials around the country about their own deeply personal experiences with burnout, and the culture that creates it.

Finding out the world does not revolve around you
Revisado: 10-07-19
If you enjoy items with a lot of self-absorption and buzz words this is for you. It is obvious that no other generation suffers like millennials. Forget our great grandparents who went through the depression and fought WW2. Our parents went through the sixties and civil rights movement not to mention the cold war the 70s economic malaise.
You don't have to rack 100's of thousands of school debt, take longer and work your way through. It is so irritating to hear that they don't have the opportunity that other generations have, and yet thousands of immigrants come and are successful. If you are not caring the debt then you can have family and homes.
Guess what not everyone needs to go to college there are many rewarding trades that you can make a great living. I have a friend that went to community college and now owns a lawn service he s earlier twenties and doing well, The thing is that he was an honor student.
Again a lot of people complaining about the poor choices that they made. You don't have to be a genius to know that education, or social worker is not going to pay off a 100's thousands of dollar school loan.
