This is a really fun and engaging “who done it!”

The voice acting was fantastic.

I seriously hope there is another season. We need more of the story!

Disappointing and frustrating

That little sample clip you can play before purchase hooks you. Then the story swiftly lets you down.

I wanted to like this book. VERY cute cute-meet.

And also:
Zero character development.
Infuriating insecurities.
Unbelievable lack of communication.

I get that the romcom formula requires some “drama” but geez Louise, are they 30-something or 13?

I will say, I enjoyed that even though the couple is interracial, and there were a few race convos, it wasn’t the point of the book. It really was just two folks in a romance.

I usually just skip a review if I don’t like a book, cause I understand the writers are people with feelings, but I couldn’t not put a little warning out.

Too Simple. Not a Mystery!

I've read reviews that called this simple and hallmark and that about sums it up.
It's like a story a speaker gives at a motivational conference about the goodness of people and how they can change.

The narration was not the best for this book. The characters had zero emotion.

I'd recommend this if you want a book that requires zero effort to follow even if you zone out for minutes at a time. However even for that, I think this is a bit too long.

If you paid me a million dollars I would still not be able to come up with a plausible reason this is in the mystery category. THAT is about the only real mystery.

Delightful Story

I was hesitant to get this because I like long stories and I like my thrillers dark and involved. However I'm so glad I got this. It was thoroughly entertaining. You can't help but like Agatha Raisin. Just try not to. I'm looking forward to diving into this series.

Nice Premise But Predictable

I'm not the person who tries to figure out a story as I read/listen/watch. I like to relax my mind and follow where the story takes me enjoying every turn. But this story was so predictable it was literally impossible not to guess each and every step. It's not a bad story but beware; you already know it.

Audible does such a great job with these classics. I listened to this in 2 long stretches. The narration was well done and the adaptation was captivating.

Great Listen!

This was one of the most original, engaging and entertaining stories I've listened to.
I have over 300 books in my library so I've heard a wide range of stories. This is one of my top 20. I wanted to listen again as soon as it was done.
Well worth the time and credit/money.

Enjoyable Read

I tend to like my audio-books to be longer so there is more in-depth detail and development but this was an enjoyable book with characters that are likable and easy to picture. I can only imagine how good it would have been with a few hundred more pages to dig into. It's not an over complicated story and even a bit simple but it's sweet and will make you smile often if not a true LOL.

A Little Too "Nothing" For My Taste

One reviewer wrote "A book where nothing happens". That about sums it up. I tend to enjoy books that follow a group of people through everyday life and tells their story. I guess those are basically books where nothing happens so I took a chance on this one. Ughhh......no really, NOTHING happens in this book. I mean something happens but it doesn't mean anything. There is no point. Where other books take the nothing and make you care, make you connect and relate. This book was just so blah. I was really shocked that I didn't like it but I just plain didn't. Even with it's semi-provocative main story line it's a bore overall. Not worth a credit.
