KOZ tells the tale of how ATF agent Darrin “Koz” Kozlowski pulled off one of the largest organized crime busts in a generation. This gritty, LA-after-dark story dives deep into the world of one of the most dangerous motorcycle clubs in Los Angeles, bringing these unbelievable true events to life.

“Koz” works his way up the club ranks. But the more entrenched he becomes, the more the stakes grow and spiral. Either he proves he’s as ruthless as his Sangres brothers, or he risks his and his family’s lives. As the story speeds toward its conclusion, the question becomes: Will Koz unearth the Sangres’ dark secret? Or will he blow his cover and be run down before getting the chance?

Rob Fresco began his writing career in features, which soon lead to writing assignments for network television movies, two of which he also directed. A dozen TV movies later he moved into writing and producing network and cable series, including Providence, Judging Amy, Crossing Jordan, Jericho, Heroes, Criminal Minds, Fairly Legal, Touch, How To Get Away With Murder, Satisfaction, Wayward Pines, Ray Donovan, Ash Vs. Xander is one of the most consistent and versatile actors in the business, which explains his 240+ film and television credits. People know to pay attention and stay tuned when he comes on screen. If this chameleon has a trademark it would be honest gravitas and wry humor. Otherwise you are often hard-pressed to recognize he is the same person from one film to the next so complete is his transformation in support of the story.
From early training in both classical and experimental theatre, and high-level skills as a make-up artist, he was brought out to LA from NY by an agent and soon landed his first film, the iconic Mommie Dearest as Christopher Crawford. Roles on shows like M.A.S.H. and The Incredible Hulk soon followed and then another film as Tom Hanks’ college roommate in Volunteers. But he credits his role as the drug dealer in and Nancy as the turning point of his career leading to both a steady stream of art films and Box Office hits, often playing the antagonist (or husband) opposite Academy Award winning actors.
Many remember him first as the foster father in Terminator 2, head of PR in Apollo 13, Captain Whitaker in A Few Good Men, and the turncoat Secret Service Man Agent Gibbs, who went down with the plane, in Air Force One, the evil Sheriff Nathan Van Cleef in Shanghai Noon and the King of Sodom in Harold Ramis’ Year One being just a few of his many memorable roles in Studio hits. And as for Indies, he did three other Films with Alex Cox and four with Mike Figgis as well as leads in Candyman, Safe, Gattaca, and the titular role in The Maestro.
TV fans know him as George Mason (who also went down with the plane...) on Fox’s 24, Percy on Nikita for the CW, Magistrate Hale on WGN’s Salem, Red John on The Mentalist for CBS, and Gregory on The Walking Dead for AMC. Also starring as The Man in The Booth at the End for Hulu.
Xander has won best actor awards in many different domestic and international film festivals and The Streamies, as well as the coveted Art Carney Award for lifetime excellence as a film character actor, a Lifetime Achievement in film from The Garden State Film Festival and a Screen Actor’s Guild Award for best ensemble cast.
Xander will next be seen in the western Butcher’s Crossing opposite Nicholas Cage, and appearing in a globally known confidential Disney+ series. Look for him to start directing soon in his new home state of Maine where he lives with his wife, actress Sarah Clarke, and their two daughters.

About the Performer

Michael Hyatt was born in England of Jamaican parents, and migrated to the States with her family in the 1980's. She received a BFA from Howard University and an MFA from New York University's Tisch School Of The Arts. Her more recent achievements appear in the soon to be released Apple TV limited series The Last Thing He Told Me, Denzel Washington's The Little Things, and the Showtime miniseries The Comey Rule. And she continues to tell Cissy Saint's story in the FX series Snowfall.

This year was an amazingly fruitful one for mysteries and thrillers. As we tried to narrow this list down, a popular refrain among editors was: "Don’t forget this, don’t forget that, and what about this?" Some of us liked when the twists and turns began within the first few minutes, while others were happy to go on the rocky, thrilling rides the genre provides with a little guessing along the way. But we’re sure about one thing—this list is simply the best.

Going in knowing this was based on fact, I was already incredibly interested, but then having Taylor Kitsch as a narrator!? BONUS! I highly reccomend reading up more on Darrin, this production was great, but he's had a WILD life and it was fun to read about. I think if non fiction was presented like this more often people would be more apt to dig in, especially now.

This is sooo good! I hope there is another that follows the work in West Virginia (I’m partial since I’m from there) but this was so awesome the story was great the voices were perfect for the characters and left me wanting more!
