As a mama of two, I'm always looking for ways to get rid of my stubborn belly fat. And as I get older, I've found that my tummy doesn't react to things the way it used to (or the way it didn't used to). It feels like a constant struggle. This book was super helpful in providing information around why certain foods might cause reactions or even some allergies and sensitivities I should think about and try to track better. But it went way beyond that. It talked about how sodium could be causing issues and why it's important to manage your intake. It also talks about why we should embrace healthy fats and incorporate them into our diets. The book offered a ton of recommendations on which foods to try and which foods to avoid, and it even provided some insight into exercises you could try to help lose some of that belly fat, which was a nice bonus! The book had a great flow and a great narrator, which made it easy to listen to and understand. Highly recommended.

My health needed a serious tune-up, so I was looking for books that might help offer some insight. Happy to have found this one! The author's approach to treating our bodies with the same care we would a luxury car really resonated with me. The book is packed with actionable advice, from dietary changes to lifestyle tweaks, all aimed at detoxifying and recharging our systems. I was particularly impressed with the detailed breakdown of foods beneficial for different blood types and the smoothie recipes for weight loss were an unexpected bonus. The humor throughout the book was also nice touch. I loved the emphasis on natural remedies over medication, backed my modern science. I'm excited to try the kidney cleanse and have already started incorporating some of the suggested ingredients into my routine. Whether you're dealing with digestive issues like me or just looking to improve your overall wellness, this book has something for you!

I suffer from procrastination and lack of motivation and have been trying to find resources to help me turn things around in that department. So glad I stumbled upon this audiobook. I loved how it was reminiscent of Atomic Habits, and reiterated a lot of the key concepts discussed in that book. A great reminder and refresher on how habit making and stacking is a great approach to being productive. I also really liked the section on saying "No"... It's something I struggle with and the book reiterated how it's a necessity to put yourself first sometimes. The narrator's voice was also a bonus. Very soothing and easy to follow with a great pace. I highly recommend this book!

Such a great book to jumpstart, or re-jumpstart, your positive way of thinking. I found myself getting into a rut lately, and went looking for some positive affirmation books to help pick me up a bit. So glad I came across this audiobook. It offered so many affirmations, ranging from many different topics. I particularly liked the ones on motivation and drive and success and achievement. I'm transitioning right now with my career, and these types of affirmations really helped me realize everything happens for a reason and some things are out of your control... But your mindset can play a huge part in how you handle such changes. I woke up feeling lighter and inspired after listening! Highly recommended if you need a pick me up or just a reminder or inspiration to shift your mindset into a more positive way of thinking.

Just finished listening to this audiobook and really enjoyed it. Be forewarned, it is pretty long, clocking in at 10 hours. But I highly suggest putting aside the time to get through it. As someone who’s struggled with ADHD, it’s always nice finding resources that are tailored to me. The book dives deep into the nuances of living with ADHD, breaking down complex ideas into actionable steps without overwhelming you. It covers everything from the basics of self-care to mastering organization and boosting productivity, all through the lens of ADHD. I really liked the piece on practical advice for managing relationships and emotions. This is something I’ve personally struggled with in the past, so hearing new tips and reminders of some I’ve tried in the past, was very helpful. I also liked the section on optimizing physical health. It plays such a big part in our mental well-being, and it’s important to call out. The book left me with a feeling like I wasn’t alone, and that ADHD doesn’t have to be a crutch in life… With the right approach, it can actually be your superpower! Highly recommended.

Just finished listening to this audiobook really enjoyed it. As someone who’s new to a leadership role, it provided a lot of insight into ways I could improve the relationships with my team members. I bought this for my Grandmother, who has been struggling with mobility and pain for some time. Her doctor/therapist suggested looking into exercises such as chair yoga, so this book was perfect! The content of the audiobook was great and informative. I listened to it first, to better understand the content and how to best execute the exercises. It was super helpful to listen to first, so I could give my Grandma better guidance, and kind of explain why the exercises will help and what to focus on when doing them. Once we got past the typical stubbornness and resistance, it actually turned out to be a fun bonding experience for my Grandma and I. She loves spending time with me, and I want to help her feel better... So it was kind of like a win-win! We've been doing the exercises for about a week now, and I must say, I can already tell a difference. She's getting more comfortable with the moves, and seems to even be a bit more agile when doing some of them! Makes my heart feel good. I'm hoping that with consistency and practice, she can start doing the exercises on her own, and hopefully get some relief from the pain she's feeling. Highly recommended, if you're a child or even a grandchild, to check it out, and see if you're loved one may be open to giving it a try! Heck, I'm even going to start doing some of the exercises and stretches, just because they felt so good!
