Love listening to this series

This is a series I love to listen to when I'm working out or driving! I love that he starts each book like a continuation of the story, instead of the way so many other authors write a sequel. Most people seem to take half the book to give you a recap, but he makes it a smooth transition. I never expected this series to take so many twists, but it's keeping me entertained. :)

I like the overall story

I love this series overall, but don't like all of the individual parts. Some of these books are so frustrating. I don't know why some of the characters have to be written out so horribly. I thought about giving up the series sometime ago, but I'm glad I stuck around. I feel like / hope that this is going to get better.

I love these types of stories. it took me a bit to get into this book. I just didn't get into the readers voice very quickly, but she grew on me. :)

Inspiring

I love how this books gets me upbeat, inspired, hopeful and motivated. I love the way Rachael writes her books. She is very good at getting you to think in a more positive way and look at the bigger picture. There are so many parts that resonate with me and could with almost anyone. These books speak to me and help me with my outlook on life.

This took turns I didn't expect.

Overall I mostly loved this book! It had unexpected twists and left me guessing. It had such a good ending! I didn't, however, like a few things in the book, but they were part of the side story.

beautiful and heartbreaking

this was such a good. I love that it's based around true events, but I wish that the author rewrote the ending to be happier. it was still such a good story even though she ended it more like it probably would have happened in real life.

Long, but so good!

It took me a little bit to get into the story, and then it sucked me in. This was so good and I wish there were more books based on history, like this one.

The story comes back around

I had a hard time getting into this book. It took quite a while and I was determined to finish it and hope that the story came back to the fist part. For a while the book seemed to be bouncing around and it didn't feel very grounded. Eventual I got into the story and had to forget about the first chapter, because it was bugging me so much that the story changed. I was annoyed and frustrated that the first chapter was just left there, hanging, and untouched. Then finally towards the last part of the book you see that it goes together seamlessly. Overall it was a good book and started to creep me out while driving at night in the cold.

This was a surprising audible original book that I downloaded. I thought it might be interesting, but it surpassed my expectations. I wish that it could have ended on a happier note, but it's a nonfiction-fiction type story. So I understand why it ended the way that it ended. I now have a new top author, and am interested in hearing more of her books.
