Someone is killing the people of London, leaving behind bodies drained of blood and bite marks upon their necks. Faced with the possibility of a vampire attack in London, Sherlock Holmes is called upon by Scotland Yard to uncover the identity of the killer. Once on the case, it doesn’t take long for the detective to follow a trail leading to a bar along St. Katherine Docks. Soon after, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson stumble upon an improbable ring of immortal spies, into which they are promptly recruited. It is a cat and mouse game, with Sherlock and Watson as the bait. I didn’t like the story. It just didn’t seem like a real Sherlock Holmes adventure. Spent the whole first chapter talking about things that had happened almost 3000 years ago.

Historia
Why, many have wondered, did Emperor Franz Joseph not enlist the services of the noted English detective Sherlock Holmes to investigate the death of the heir to the Hapsburg throne? In fact, Holmes was in Vienna at the request of the Emperor, although neither could have predicted the tragedy that was about to occur. In this newly discovered manuscript, John H. Watson, MD, reveals, for the first time, the integral—and until now—unheralded role of the world’s first private consulting detective in solving The Affair at Mayerling Lodge.

Awful
Revisado: 06-05-23
This was an awful rambling book that absolutely made no sense. The only reason you would know it is a Sherlock Holms story is that it actually mentions his and Dr. Watson’s names. no who done it, totally incoherent awful story.

Recently, a stash of unpublished stories, written by Dr. John Watson, assistant to the legendary consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes, were discovered - hidden within the secret corners and shadows of the famous flat at 221b Baker Street. Collected together for the first time by author GC Rosenquist the ten newly unearthed stories detail the very earliest years of the Holmes/Watson partnership and shed a very different, personal and surprising light on their familiar relationship.

Revisado: 05-07-23
There was a couple of stories that wasn’t too bad. Didn’t care for the story about mrs. Hudson, being married to a criminal had twins, and one of them killed the other one. Also, the one about Jules Verne, telling Holmes and Watson in the future people will be flying through the air and them laughing at him wasn’t very good.

1896. A new client at Baker Street claims he’s being threatened via the new art of the moving image. Eadweard Muybridge, pioneer of motion picture projection, believes his life is in danger. Twice he has been almost run down in the street by the same mysterious carriage, and moreover, disturbing alterations have been made to his lecture slides. These are closely guarded, yet just before each lecture an unknown hand has defaced images depicting Muybridge himself, which he has discovered, to his horror, only as he projects them to his audience.

The story was boring and somewhat incoherent. You couldn’t tell any difference between the voices of the characters. I hated the fact in the story, Dr. Watson I was constantly whining and complaining about Sherlock Holmes.
