The book seemed good at first and then.....WOW, WOW, WOW!!! I am rarely surprised. I cannot stop talking about the ending of this book. The feeling it left is still with me. No other book since Misery has evoked this type of emotion in me. I don't want to and won't spoil the experience for anyone else.

This book was a snoozer. It had very little to do with crimes and more about his life. It was a biography and had it been listed as such I would never have gotten it. The narrator is monotone and flat which made this less than interesting book even more less interesting. I would give it one star but I like the genre but this should not have been included in that genre

I was extremely disappointed with this book. It was boring from the beginning. I did give it a fair chance and got all the way through. There were 2 stories that were mildly interesting. I am a super fan of Lee Child and the other superstars who helped put this together this book. Sorry it just fell flat and was painful to listen. The narrators were also sub-standard.

What would have made Behind Closed Doors better?
nothing as the subject matter was harsh. It was not a story but rather it seemed a real life (albeit very sad and disturbing) story
