Historia
Arthur Leywin's quest for the power he knows only as Fate becomes even more pressing as his most dangerous foes gain a terrible new power. When the war between the dragons of Epheotus and the basilisks of Alacrya erupts across Dicathen, the people Arthur cares about most find themselves trapped in a clash of deities. The only way to master Fate and protect them, though, is to place them directly in harm's way in the ultimate gambit.

During the test flight of a prototype faster-than-light craft, Lt. Commander Ky is flung into an ancient past that never existed. Rome has fallen, defeated by the mighty Carthaginian Empire, its survivors chased off the continent and onto what had been the remote province of Britannia. Let me tell you something
Revisado: 12-20-24
There is an interesting story somewhere between the endless explanations over clarifications back and forth of the morality and wrong think in ancient Roman society .
Not the bit about how awesome the MC is or if he’s a god or just got adjacent. The universe hopping AI chip in head having a lot of useful information. Maybe a little bit too realistic, less meetings more story. .

Historia
Neither cosmic philosopher Lars Soren, hotshot pilot Bianca Petrescu, nor the high priestess Jessica McHugh—Lady Death herself—can say quite where in the galaxy they are. But after an experiment gone horribly wrong, one thing is clear: Asphodel Station isn’t in orbit around Jupiter any longer. Worse, the monsters that live out here—ancient eldritch beings thought only to exist in stories and nightmares—have now been alerted to Earth’s existence.

I dunno
Revisado: 10-10-24
I’ve tried many times to finish this book . Not sure if it’s the short chapters and moving POV . Maybe it’s some of the dialogue that’s a bit cringy in my opinion. Or the lack of emotional attachment to the characters. This type of story should be in my wheelhouse , for some reason I had difficulty with this .

Revisado: 08-04-24
This is the basically Dragon Ball meets timeline regression story . It’s a story I’m invested in , I can put on in the background. Yes , inner thoughts and over explanations are a thing and sometimes repetitive , but the overall story is interesting. In my humble opinion a worthwhile read.

I’m frustrated with this book , there’s a good story in here I’m just a bit exasperated with it . I’ll probably just read the next installment. It’s not bad it’s just a bit much inconsistent and frustrating .

A review
Revisado: 02-01-24
This book is meh , despite the flatness of the virtual voice
And the obvious Ai produce story . I tend to have a soft spot for FarScape-ish storyline , so for something included in my membership it was worth a listen .
The story took a turn towards the absurd, every person would go on multiple paragraphs of praise mostly for Sam . Things are explained in a highly literary way , the interaction between characters are unrealistic and often times contradictory. Take a sci fi story and make it more about weird interactions between characters and you have this . Next time you might want a real person checking if things make sense, like funny jokes people acting like people . Don’t get me started about how often the names are used.

Historia
I didn't want to be worshiped like some deity—an instant replacement for the asuras. For so long, these people looked up to the asuras as gods, but the asuras kept trying to kill them. Arthur Leywin has finally returned to the continent of Dicathen, but his home is still firmly in the hands of the enemy. His display of unprecedented power brings hope to his allies and fear to his enemies. It also deeply embroils him in a conflict between the godlike asuras, with Agrona Vritra on one side and Kezess Indrath on the other.

My review
Revisado: 11-22-23
If you made it this far it’s obvious you like the story so I probably don’t need to convince you to keep on keeping on . I would like to convey my dismay at having to wait for the next book in the series .

I enjoy the story
Revisado: 09-23-22
I felt alot of the main character interactions with a lot of second an third supporting characters seem pointless the majority of the interactions didn’t move main story along . We don’t know much about the enemy about the conspiracies or the chosen marks information , let alone an ideas of who the big baddies are. This is a story has foil in the terms of Magic school , I understand wanting information and training but his time at school ate up a good portion of the story .
Don’t get me wrong I like the story and feel it has potential it’s just I felt the need for some closure , not a tasted and the obligatory stay tune till next time . I will be keeping up with the next book .
Travis as always is extremely Talented .

Jason arrives at a kingdom in peril and he's surprised to discover that it's not his job to save it. With the authorities fulfilling their responsibilities (for once), he looks forward to some quiet time to rest and recuperate. The locals might not find ceaseless monster onslaughts and an interdimensional invasion relaxing, but Jason has had a rough few years. He's doing his best to let go of his anger. While his team is caught up in duty, Jason has no shortage of people looking to interfere with his rest. Enemies—old and new—are circling, and even would-be allies are trouble.

At This Point !
Revisado: 09-21-22
At this point if you’re into this series you pretty much have a good idea what you’re in for . Jason is awesome Broody sarcastic irreverent and a buch of other adjectives I don’t feel like listing . Yes there’s exposition and times when if the Characters stop talking start hitting the book would be a much shorter thing , also The endless repetition of skills can get a bit tiring .
the side quests might eat up A quarter of the story time . I’m guessing if you made it this far in Jason story this “review” not going to change your mind one way or the other . if it helps it makes me laugh , is Corky and it’s better than 6 hr season binge fest of Netflix. put your earphones in and enjoy the magical world according to Jason , it’s kinda his thing !
