Listening to this book and following the logic is somewhat difficult if you are like me and usually multitasking when you are listening to something. The content is interesting and fun, but if you are interested do yourself a favor and buy the paperback instead. It should be much easier to read at your own pace and go back and reread something if you didn’t understand it the first time around.

Interesting, but not as much as other Lewis books

Most of this book are newspaper articles from various stock market (or other) crashes from the 1980's up until the housing crisis of 2007-2009. Michael Lewis features some of his own articles written at the time of each crash and includes other well know financial commentators like Paul Krugman, and then offers some insight as to how and why each crash occurred.

The content is not as interesting as some of Michael Lewis's other books, but it is still worthwhile for anyone that is interested in better understanding the stock market, and particularly wants to understand how crashes and panics occur. Anyone looking for a more entertaining story should instead read Moneyball or The Big Short.

As the first full length Stephen King book that I have listened to (or read), IT was a great read. Highly entertaining, always interesting, and more than a few interesting ideas all wrapped up in a horror book. I have to say that I did not find this book at all scary, but listening in the car on the way to work is a little different than reading in the dark

Also have to say that Stephen Weber did a fantastic job. Might be the best audiobook narration I have heard to date.

Great story with several political angles being explored and plots within plots within plots. It reminds me of A Song of Ice and Fire, though I prefer ASOIAF. My one complaint is that voice actors switched roles back and forth between chapters, which made things confusing at first. For instance the Barron is voiced by two people with very distinct voices and they seem to switch back and forth every time his character is present. Not sure why they did that...
