Lead needs to learn to look over her shoulder.
Revisado: 08-23-24
Trite story with too much praise heaped upon main character. It could have been 2 hours shorter. Not so much a detective as a busy body being in the right place at the right time to see or over hear clues.

Good synopsis
Revisado: 01-25-24
Good summary of the story. Don't love the virtual voice. mispronounced "supper" & "crocheted" among a few others. Also sounds, at times, like a person who doesn't understand what they are reading.

Minor plot holes
Revisado: 03-01-23
The story is cute and part of the series, but this one needs an editor. Change of dinner plans and missing leftovers didn't really interfere with the story but was sloppy. It was missing something.

Good story well performed. the Louisiana accents don't bother me and help differentiate the characters. Definitely more romance than the Miss Fortune mysteries. Well written and enjoyable.

Dark and suspenseful
Revisado: 06-09-22
The narrator does a great job of communicating the fear felt by the characters. I loved the Fortune Mysteries and wanted to try another Jana DeLeon series. This one is much darker but an excellent story.
