Scrum is the most successful framework for agile product development, and much has been written about how to follow the Scrum process, but the key to success is in the leadership skills of the product owner. Product Mastery explores the traits of the best product owners, offering an insight into the difference between good and great product ownership and explaining how the best product owners are driven to be successful.

Important Read. Lazy Voice over
Revisado: 05-18-24
This is important stuff. The author took the time to research and craft the book.
BUT the author didn't take the time / make the effort to use the tools to actually deliver the voice over.
You can hear that he is not a professional. he relied on this English accent to carry him through.
He didn't use a pop screen. So you can hear his lips smack. He didn't edit out any mouth noises or paper noises or room tone.
He did an amateur / lazy job. Over all what he said was fine. His voice over is passable. But that isn't the point. The point is he is sharing what professionals should do and how they can be better for their teams.
But he didn't put in the money to hire a professional voice over artist or a professional editor.
So this puts into question what he teaches in the book. I need to listen to the book several times go get all his valuable information in. But I dread listening to it the second time to hear that he made the effort NOT to be professional.
Again it's hypocritical and lazy. I would rather listen to and AI voice. Also he knows what type of English accent he as. He knows when he over pronounces the "k" at the end of a line and other words. This is revealing of a specific type of UK English pronouncement. And it erodes the quality of what he is reading. To the author. Hero up and hire a professional and take your ego out of it and upload their voice.

Historia
Alan Mathison Turing. Mathematician, philosopher, codebreaker, a founder of computer science, and the father of Artificial Intelligence, Turing was one of the most original thinkers of the last century - and the man whose work helped create the computer-driven world we now inhabit. But he was also an enigmatic figure, deeply reticent yet also strikingly naive. Turing's openness about his homosexuality at a time when it was an imprisonable offense ultimately led to his untimely death at the age of only 41.

In Indistractable, Eyal reveals the hidden psychology driving us to distraction. He describes why solving the problem is not as simple as swearing off our devices: Abstinence is impractical and often makes us want more. Eyal lays bare the secret of finally doing what you say you will do with a four-step, research-backed model. Indistractable reveals the key to getting the best out of technology, without letting it get the best of us.

I have listened to Nir's other book "Hooked" and it was a must listen so Nir already had my loyalty.
My point is, with a book from Nir you don't need to think twice. You need to get his book and have it in your library for references of tools that will help you be the best you can be in you work, passion, and life. A hardworking author like Nir works for years crafting a book to share with us. I know I will apply what Nir shares right away and I am confident you will too :)
I have just started listening. I will give a bigger review after I finish.
Cheers
Marty
