Dr. Michael Heiser best work! Grateful for his legacy!
Revisado: 12-12-24
This will be a true classic, and it’s time. I use Audible because I drive so much. This book is want to own in a hardcopy as a companion to this audible reading. It is in depth, and I know that it contains many footnotes which you will this While listening rather than read it. I found this work, very fascinating and mentally stimulating as delves into what many hold to be a controversial view of Genesis 6, Deuteronomy, 32, and Psalms 82! Along with many other passages of scripture. I have been on this path and for sometime and listening to his nanny’s teachings on YouTube! Dr. Michael Hisers, scholarly work, and his legacy will leave an indelible mark on the body of Christ!

Historia
This book is about the great moral issues underlying many of the headline-making political controversies of our times. It is not a comforting book but a book about disturbing and dangerous trends. The Quest for Cosmic Justice shows how confused conceptions of justice end up promoting injustice, how confused conceptions of equality end up promoting inequality, and how the tyranny of social visions prevents many people from confronting the actual consequences of their own beliefs and policies.

Love this offering of common sense by Sowell! Why are his writings so seldom discussed in opposition to the narrative of social justice warriors who twist everything for purposes of advancing a that narrative! Clear and concise, albeit a little hard to digest for a high school grad like myself. Worth every minute of my time! Thank you!

Historia
These wide-ranging essays - on many individual political, economic, cultural, and legal issues - have as a recurring, underlying theme the decline of the values and institutions that have sustained and advanced American society for more than two centuries. This decline has been more than erosion. It has, in many cases, been a deliberate dismantling of American values and institutions by people convinced that their superior wisdom and virtue must override both the traditions of the country and the will of the people.

Thomas Sowell pokes the demonic bear right in the eye with this one!
Revisado: 06-07-24
Love how detailed and unapologetic this writing is on chronically the demise of American exceptionalism under Obama’s totalitarian regime! It was both entertaining and informative and I loved it! Sowell displays his deep intellect and whit while laying bare the enemies tactics! I only hope we can learn from our own electoral errors when we put such a novice and anti-American into the White House so as to not repeat the same mistakes all over again but now we have Obama2.0 in Joe Biden albeit he is likely Obama’s puppet and figurehead as I am sure he does retain the mental capacity to run a hotdog stand!

Historia
War can settle disputes, topple tyrants, and bend the trajectory of civilization—sometimes to the breaking point. From Troy to Hiroshima, moments when war has ended in utter annihilation have reverberated through the centuries, signaling the end of political systems, cultures, and epochs. Though much has changed over the millennia, human nature remains the same. In The End of Everything, military historian Victor Davis Hanson narrates a series of sieges and sackings that span the age of antiquity to the conquest of the New World to show how societies descend into barbarism and obliteration.

VDH Rocks History!
Revisado: 06-05-24
The beauty of this writing and record of the history might be found in our learning from it in order not to repeat the same desperate moral decay that these societies went, but I am afraid it’s to late! America and the West have descended into the moral abyss and we will likely not find our way out unless we repent and return to Jesus Christ and the moral absolute of the Bible! For instance when the repugnant ruling known as Roe v. Wade was overturned and the practice of child sacrifice was dealt a blow the majority of people cried all the louder “let us kill our own children” or “our rights to to kill our own children have been stripped away” and any who know history cringe and weep for the blood of the innocent is crying out for justice! Repent America before it is to late and the judgement comes!

Mankind is enslaved to evil. Noah, a tribal leader, has been prophesied to bring an end to the rule of these "gods" and save humanity from coming destruction. But Noah's wife and son are captives of these dark forces.

Revisado: 04-30-24
What work of biblical fiction! I didn’t at first glance know what to think of the is book really! I am a student of the Bible for 25+ yrs and the more that I listened I supposed the possibilities as to the prequel of the biblical narrative of the flood and the implications as to Noah’s life and the real state of human / Watcher context here on earth! I really enjoyed listening and considering those possibilities and the ramifications of the demonic influences on mankind leading up to the flood! Such as we have yet to see on earth insomuch as we have experienced! Yet Jesus said is will be again leading up to His second coming! Get ready!

Historia
To the mind enlightened by divine truth, the difference between a filial fear of offending God and the dread of punishment is very plain. Still, by the devil's sophistry, some of the most pious Christians have been puzzled and bewildered. Bunyan was not ignorant of Satan's devices, and he has roused the energies of his powerful mind, guided by divine truth, to render this important doctrine so clear and easy to be understood, that the believer may not err.

1649 as it is today! This very day! The same in needed!
Revisado: 04-15-24
I rather enjoyed and was greatly challenged by this book as to the level of my own fear of God! It is my observation that especially the western church of today would do well to re-read this volume and adhere to this basic biblical principle of fear of God! Or else we should call evil good and good evil as is the world the flesh and the devil, and so join in league with them against God and His Christ! Woah to me or any other who forsake the fear of the Lord for basting ourselves in the love of God! We ought rather to fear God and keep His commandments while we work out our salvation in fear and trembling!

God is not bound by the laws of the natural world. He is, by definition, supernatural, and he created us in his image. We are supernatural beings. So why do we confine our understanding of him - and our relationship to him - within our own physical, finite limitations?

Revisado: 03-06-24
As you can probably imagine it is difficult for us mortal men to reconcile what we can perceive and understand about the supernatural from our being bound to the natural and earthly realm but the author does a good job helping the reader consider the possibilities of walking with God in His supernatural attributes through relationship with Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit! It was a good read and bound to scripture which is the standard and I was encouraged to dive deeper into Gods greater works for myself personally!

This is an academic work describing how the New Testament writers re-purpose Genesis 6:1-5 in their presentation of Jesus as messiah. Though every topic addressed in Reversing Hermon can be found in scholarly academic literature, Reversing Hermon is the first book to gather this information and make it accessible to Bible students everywhere. The book also includes lengthy appendices on the ancient debate on the inspiration of the book of 1 Enoch, New Testament allusions to the book, and academic resources.

Historia
Turning the other cheek does not mean standing by while the enemies of God dismantle Christian civilization and brainwash our children. Decrying the cowardice that masquerades as meekness, Eric Metaxas summons the Church to battle. An attenuated and unbiblical “faith” based on what Bonhoeffer called “cheap grace” has sapped the spiritual vitality of millions of Americans. Paying lip service to an insipid “evangelism,” they shrink from combating the evils of our time. Metaxas refutes the pernicious lie that fighting evil politicizes Christianity.

What we need to hear as the Western Church!
Revisado: 02-14-24
Eric Metaxas hits the proverbial nail on the head! He lays out the truth of the stare of the church very well! We must, and I must love the Lord firstly, His Word primarily more then we/I seek to take the safe path of self protection and escape from persecution which is inevitable when we walk in the perfect will of our Lord Jesus! As Paul the Apostle said “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” 2Tim. 3:12 This is that time for the church in the West! We must stand and be the heralds for Christ against the rising tide of the demonic! Come what may!
