Historia
Doris Grandfelt, an employee at an accounting firm, was brutally stabbed to death . . . but nobody knew exactly where the crime took place. Her body was found the next night, dumped among a dense thicket of trees along the edge of an urban park, eight miles east of St. Paul, Minnesota. Despite her twin sister Lara Grandfelt’s persistent calls to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the killer was never found.

Revisado: 04-04-25
Oh H… naw…
Been there done that!
The storyline is familiar… the outcome is familiar… he already wrote this story!!! Maybe about 7 years ago? …the names are different though .… JS! It even had the same ending. You are better than that. One note: We do love having Lucas and Virgil working together again. Thank Jesus it was without Letty. Thanks to JS for all the LD years. It was outstanding- Until it wasn’t..

Historia
Gaia is dying. That, at least, is what Dr. Lionel Scott believes. A renowned expert in tropical and infectious diseases, Scott has witnessed the devastating impact of illness and turmoil at critical scale. Society as it exists is untenable, and the direct link to Earth’s death spiral; population levels are out of control and people have allowed disarray and disorder to run rampant. While most are concerned about deadly disease, Scott knows that it is truly humanity itself that will destroy Gaia.

DISAPPOINTMENT PREY SHOULD BE THE TITLE.
Revisado: 07-06-24
I have every Prey audiobook (I’m such a fan I also have several of the same books in hardcover and paperback too). Even Richard Ferrone couldn’t have made this book good (RIP). If you said someone else wrote it, I would believe you. And whoever wrote this book made a huge mistake, or the narrator did: When Letty was was reading emails towards the end, the passage was something like “ Letty got emails from Lucas, from her mother, and Weather..” And sorry to say this, but the narrator was boring. Petkoff is good, but he’s not Lucas Davenport. Begging Sanford, just retire Lucas before he ruins the series altogether. At least get Eric Conger as the narrator (he's done it before and he sounds more like Lucas/Virgil) it’s been a great run.

Historia
A kid walks into your bookstore and says to you, Guess what? I'm your son. The one you put up for adoption seventeen years ago. The one you never told anyone about. Surprise! His name is Matthew Walker, and he's come to spend the summer on the Cape with his parents. Why? Well, he wants to meet you before he heads off to college in the fall. Tiny detail—he didn't tell his adoptive parents about his plan. And while you hoped this day would come someday, you're so stunned, you actually faint.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Loved It
Revisado: 02-19-23
Glad Harry narrated. His voice is melodic. I have listened to it twice. I love that he has taken the reigns of his life and story and is now living it on his terms. Harry clearly learned what many of find out as we get older-not all relatives are family. What surprised me is that Harry could have gone more in depth but chose not to. He told his story without spilling all the tea. I have no doubt that was probably due to his wife’s influence.
Surprisingly, I thought I would hate his father. But I find that I came away feeling sorry for Charles. He clearly is half the man and father Harry is. Charles is like a grown child governed by fear, vanity and willful ignorance.
None of us need to worry about Harry. He’s going to be fine.

Hannah Brooks looks more like a kindergarten teacher than somebody who could kill you with a wine bottle opener. Or a ballpoint pen. Or a dinner napkin. But the truth is, she’s an Executive Protection Agent (aka "bodyguard"), and she just got hired to protect superstar actor Jack Stapleton from his middle-aged, corgi-breeding stalker.

Doesn’t Ring True
Revisado: 04-14-22
Boring storyline and plot. Unbelievable. Annoying that Letty mentioned Lucas every chance she could.. As if Lucas’ credentials were her own. Wished she had worked with Lucas or Virgil. And why didn’t Lucas put her in touch with his friend Kidd to help with the computer research? And no way would Lucas not turn up toward the end of the book. No way. Overall the book was kinda good.

Historia
How do you change your luck? Katherine Center's marvelously entertaining and poignant new novel is about choosing to look for happiness-and maybe getting lucky enough to find it. Sarah Harper isn't sure if the stupid decisions she sometimes makes are good choices in disguise-or if they're really just stupid. But either way, after forwarding an inappropriate email to her entire company, she suddenly finds herself out of a job.

Long Days Journey Into Redundancy
Revisado: 01-30-22
I fell asleep several times listening to this. But there was never a need to go back because she kept saying the same things. I bet if you counted how many times she used the words passport, safe, cut, and cctv footage, the book would have been 6 hours long. Not a very good book.
