I liked hearing about each president in order. It hit the high spots, nothing in depth. Pedestrian writing.

I liked the story of survival but it’s very irritating to hear so many mispronounced words…both English and especially French.

Historia
The Berlin Wall is perhaps modern history’s most infamous edifice. The Berlin Wall: A World Divided is more than just the story of brick, concrete, and barbed wire. It’s the story of a city, a country, and a world - all of them divided. To hear how the Berlin Wall exemplified this division is to gain insights into a central tension of world history: between the human drive for freedom and the political will that would control and repress that drive.

In The Horse, journalist and equestrienne Wendy Williams brings that story brilliantly to life. Williams chronicles the 56-million-year journey of horses as she visits with experts around the world, exploring what our biological affinities and differences can tell us about the bond between horses and humans and what our longtime companions might think and feel.

Revisado: 07-19-21
I really liked the science and history of the horse. The book will satisfy if you are interested in the in depth telling of how horses develped through time. I did not like the narrator, she speaks in a sharp. clipped voice and puts accents on ceftain words in an annoying and distracting way.

This story kept me on the edge of my seat and it's a story worth telling. Unfortunately I did not like the narrator and that was an irritating distraction for me. Some of the writing was a little overwrought but mostly I enjoyed the story. I would recommend.
