Not a litrpg
Revisado: 12-03-24
So there’s a spoiler ahead so if you wanna know what’s going down now, you know.
There is no lit RPG system in this book. There is no system. There are no stats. There are no skills, but there is magic and spells. There’s only three different spells you can use in this book. Know each person can use the different spells in their own individual way but there’s no fireball or lightning. The three different spells they can use are mind, force and I’m not sure what the other one is. I forgot I did not really care for this book.
The way they use magic is different so I thought it was going to be cool. But you don’t really get much explanation of why it’s done this certain way. They use a circle system for magic. And that’s the closest RPG you’ll get. So the way it works is you gather mana and you create a circle in your chest. And then the more circles you have the stronger you are. But then the way they cast spells is through a wand, but it’s more like steam punk-ish with mechanical parts in the wand like radiators And converters.
In my opinion, there was just not enough explanation of how their magic works. Why the ones are what they are or why they can only cast the spells they can cast. As well as nothing really happens in the first book. Yes the main character does go back in time by 10 years, and he saves some people but nothing really progresses. The main character doesn’t really have a crap ton of special knowledge to use They’ll help him right now. Most of it is what it’ll help him in the future so there’s just a lot of set up to this book.
This is a more sci-fi fantasy book and I guess a progression style book. I would not call it a RPG at all wasn’t for me. I wouldn’t recommend don’t waste your credit if you’re looking for a litrpg

Actually, good Academy read
Revisado: 11-23-24
I really like this book. I am not a big magic Academy fan. Most the time it’s just them living their school life with a little bit of magic thrown to make it litrpg. But this one really caught my attention with everything that happens in the novel.
The main character gets approved to be in the med Academy with a class that he gets during the entrance exam and the headmasters aren’t too excited but they admit him anyway. I really like the classy he got because it is a monster Sumter. You don’t hear that many books that include this class in it. He does get a couple monsters and uses them smartly in battle to achieve his goals.
The story has twist and turn and got me a couple times. Like are you kidding me? How did you not figure this out but then you’re the one as the listener that got bamboozled and was like oh my God you’re both wrong but it’s such a fun Moment when you realize that you’re both wrong lol.
The only issue if you can call it that is. Some things are not explained to you until you get through the book. So it’s kind of a hard listen in the first couple hours but if you get past that, it is a great book. I recommend it, if you have a couple extra tokens laying around and give it a chance.

Pizza, coffee, and a library full of unplayed games. That's the plan, or at least it was supposed to be. Instead, an average gamer finds himself seemingly transported into the world of his favorite game. While some might appreciate that, it's quickly apparent that he isn't in some sort of virtual reality experiment, all of his downloaded mods are active, and the world is likely set to its highest difficulty with permadeath enabled.

Do it.. just do it!!
Revisado: 07-20-23
So the main character is about to have a lazy day and play video games when he’s about to play his favorite video game. The game has been updated and he’s been out for a little over 10 years. A new update kind of comes up and he glasses over it and press the accept button to redo the game in a speed run like fashion. Once he creates a new character he gets sucked into this world that is the game that he loves.
Well he’s going through the game he remembers a lot of the recipes and crafting material he needs to do certain things. As well as the bosses that he needs to fight. Until he realizes that the game is on hard-core and Perma death. The way to the game mechanics for work to me is kind of like Minecraft where you have to scavenge for materials and that’s how you make buildings and craft potions and armor.
As he progresses he realizes that when he plays some of his sessions he downloaded all these add-ons to the games. Those add-ons that he put into the game are still in the game so all the characters she meets have been changed to female characters. I will say they don’t just fall in love with him but they kind of do. They just don’t throw themselves at him he does some things to save their lives and over a couple days they fall in love with him. Towards the end of the book he has two female characters so far.
The only issue I have with the book so far is because one of the stipulations in this game is you can’t have any intercourse without being married. So they find a Way around that where in intercourse they do other lewd things. But from my point of you is just one way where the main character is getting satisfied and he’s not doing anything to the female cast. I’m not saying they’re not getting their so-called rocks off but they are he’s just sitting on the bed while they do the work. Hopefully the next installment is quid pro quo if you know what I mean.
I really do enjoy this book and I suggest you to do the same and invest into it.

It is an ok book
Revisado: 07-20-23
So the book starts out with a main character getting prompted to get transport it to another world not realizing it wasn’t a game but an actual living world. It was an OK book. With the title being whisper of iron I was more hoping for an actual blacksmithing where he’s hitting iron heating it up and actually creating items on hands. But it was more game like were you basically have the materials and then the system creates the item that you want with that material.
No I did like how the main character could feel with the materials he has wanted to be and would craft the material into that item.
But my biggest gripe with this book is the main character wants to help this one faction who treats him and his people with discussed and for some odd reason he always has a bright attitude about it and doesn’t think twice about helping this main race. The race is basically cat beastkin in the story goes the humans lost all their magic and the beast kin Took them in as basically indentured servants and work them to the bone. Some of them even give humans tasks to get them killed. The main character is OK with us. He doesn’t really talk about it and just kind of glasses over that. He was taken in by a blacksmith by mistake because they think he is from a different settlement and the first person is nice to him is a blacksmith daughter. She can see you something in him and takes pity upon him.
Another thing is through the whole book they’re calling the main character fat. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. I’m also quite a chunky guy so I like how the main character is not just this huge muscular man. But it just goes to show you that the main character kind of shrugged it off.
If anything I’m really looking forward to the second book to see how the story progresses and the main character getting more and more power.

New adventures
Revisado: 07-09-23
The story continues with the main character going into a different species body and having to learn all of the ins and outs of the new race. He gets a New family and really wants to help them out. As much as he can. Every life he goes back in time to he always tries to do his best to stop the cataclysm from happening. He just more knowledge of what’s going on behind the scenes but ends up going back in time again
In this in a ration of the character going back in time he is put into a females Body and has to navigate a new species a female body and a whole different hierarchy system. With him being the princess daughter.
The first part of the story is great has a lot adventure and I really enjoyed it. The second part when he becomes the princess doesn’t really have much for me. Because of his family he doesn’t really learn much about his new power and towards the end takes more of the vacation and relax then worry about the event coming. It’s OK but I really enjoy this first part of the book.

Alright, no need to panic. Instead of never waking from my crash, I found myself relocated. Before the accident, I was a woman in her late 20s, working as a mid-level banker who was a rising star destined for greatness. I had a propensity to dress fancy, savor my yearnings for both sexes, and I enjoyed a pretty pampered life which made my transition onto a fantasy world a bit tenuous.

Great story should pick up this book
Revisado: 07-07-23
I highly recommend this book. The reason why is because of right now it’s a one off. There might be one in the future but for right now the story does end. It might be a little short but it does have a beginning middle and end.
I like these kinds of books because Time passes and it’s not like the main character just spent one day in the world and that was the whole book.
There is a couple explicit scenes in the book and they’re well written and I really enjoyed the scenes. The main character does go through tribulations and finds her path in this new world. And also has ambitions to fight for that path.
So what makes this a Gamelit Is when the characters reincarnate into this new world they basically get a wrist wash that gives them quests and they get points from doing those quests. Then they can use those points to redeem for goods in the virtual store or they can transfer 1 point to 1 gold coin. Obviously you can buy things in the real world but for certain circumstances you may need to buy it from the virtual store.
There’s just enough world building to make the world interesting as well as I really enjoyed at the beginning of the book the God that transferred her to the New World explains a good amount of it lol. So it doesn’t just leaving you in the dark about what’s going onto the main character.
Either way if you’re looking for a short complete book I recommend this

Not my jam
Revisado: 07-05-23
It was an OK book. It’s not really my jam. So the story starts out as the main character invest in a kick starter for a game and is waiting to play it. So when it starts he gets sucked into the game world. When he gets there he gets an exclusive class because he was an early investor into the project. He’s basically a maids class that has to bond sexually with other creatures in the world to get spells. And obviously the creatures are beautiful women. That throw themselves at him.
This is an erotic book. I would’ve wish for more scenes but it wasn’t too bad. My only issue is this is a complete series but each book is quite short so there’s not a lot of room to get to know the girls before he has sex with them. It’s more of he walks into a room him and his girl lock eyes and all of a sudden they want to be together forever. It just seems weird to me
So there are gods in this book and each God has a shard. One of the dark guy is trying to collect the shards and destroy the world basically. My issue is the main character meets other humans from his world that got sucked into the game and none of them really care. They all just want to sit back and relax and not die. If this really happened I feel like there should be a horde of players trying to stop this God not just the main character. As well as the main character is not overpowered he’s usually under leveled for every fight he’s in and somehow survives. Don’t get me wrong he does die once in the very beginning of the book. And when you die there are consequences. Every time you die you lose one stat each attribute so when your attributes go down to zero you die permanently.
It just is unbelievable to me. I played DND and you can get some pretty lucky rolls but the damage output still depends on the spell. And the dude throws a crap ton of spells and everybody almost dies every time. I just don’t feel any urgency to the fights like oh my God he might die this time.
The book was kind of a slog to get through. I listen to it when I was at work most the time and if you like these kinds of books you might really fall in love with it but for me it wasn’t as good as I was hoping it would be.

Give it a try you might like it
Revisado: 06-30-23
So the book starts out as the main character goes up this mountain to be able to unlock the system at the age of 16. You can unlock it through living your life and hunting monsters but this way is very dangerous and a high risk of dying or you can do this cheat where you can absorb magic that comes out of this mountain once a year to unlock the system. Obviously the first try doesn’t work so it goes to a more sketchy area and does it through that. On his way home she dies and get sent back to when he opens his System back on the mountaintop.
The book basically follows him through his daily life of going to school and learning about his special system well going through the tribulations of being a poor kid and not having the knowledge that was given to all the rich kids because of money.
It does take a while but he does go back in time again and becomes a different person because his soul gets stuck into a different body.
The main character is not an OP character because he can go back in time. At least for right now. Through the second time rewind he does keep some of his powers from his previous life so does get a little more than other students. But it doesn’t ruin the story one bit.
The only gripe I have about this book is the Narrator pronounces words wrong quite a bit and sometimes I have to relisten to make sure I understood what he said. Purpose signs that the book is long and you get a good bang for your buck. I definitely do recommend this book to anybody that has a lot of time on their hands and you can sit down and listen to a good book.

Interesting take on old classic
Revisado: 06-30-23
I really like it when bucks give you a good bang for your buck. Especially with this book being so long it took me a couple days to finish it especially nowadays when books are only doing 89 hours.
So like the synopsis says the aliens invade and try to kill humanity. But humanity is given a choice. Play this game and earn your survival to show that humanity isn’t as bad as the universe thinks it is and earn your freedom.
I really like how the main character volunteers for the game ecause I know I would. And as the story goes on I can really relate to the main characters emotions throughout the book. I mean I want to have chosen his stat points but still it is interesting and it does have stat sheets and follows pretty closely to the lettet. And what I mean by that is if he gets more strength stronger if he gets more dexterity he’s faster. Some books don’t show that nowadays and I really appreciate that instead of just giving him inflated stats and making him OP he has to work for what he has and that’s what his character does.
Towards the end of the book he is told that the world that he is in are real and the people that he Has met throughout our conscious people and not just NPC’s. It really messes with your mind and regret some of your actions like how the main character does.
If anything I really do recommend this book the main character is not OP and you can really feel the emotions through the narrator

Great story can’t wait for book #2
Revisado: 06-22-23
It was a great book. I really like how multiple events happened in this book. Instead of just one event happening throughout the book that takes all of the time. Books nowadays are really just doing one thing and one thing only in the book. That’s why I really like this before multiple events happen That progress the storyline and really get you interested in the characters.
The main character does kind of have an OP power but is it number one in the world in this book. He uses it in creative ways and the powers do have consequences of overuse. And it’s nice to see something like that happen in these OP power books.
I only have one issue with the book and it is personal. This is a spoiler moment so if you don’t wanna read it please don’t. The main character is a part of a tournament and he does not win the grand prize. I really wish He would’ve won the grand prize and it still would’ve made the story continue on the same path it was going. But besides that single bright I really love the book and I recommend it to anybody that wants a good price and a long book.
