Historia
Disruptive events have the power to alter even the most basic assumptions we have about our lives and profoundly change the way we live them. To many, such dramatic and sudden shifts can create chaos, confusion, and fear. However, Garrett asserts that disruption—while sometimes painful in its abruptness—can also be a time rife with opportunity for incredible growth and transformation by allowing it to shake us out of what he calls a “losing game”. When disruption happens, we create a space to play a new game, a “winning game”.

White Privilege Gone Wild
Revisado: 10-07-22
Absolutely worthless content. There should be a button where we can get refunded for the price we paid. Even better a way to charge this jerk for wasting our time.
No new content. This is hours of this guy talking about how much privilege he has that he thinks he earned. News flash: He didn't. He's filthy rich and this is nothing but evidence of how far removed money makes people from real life. He wrote a one man show and became a comedian during the pandemic. While the rest of the world fought to survive he took massive vacations and spent lots of money on self endulgences while completely ignoring that not everyone is filthy rich with staff. And then he tells you everything you are doing is just wrong instead of acknowledging how lucky he got and how insanely unworthy he is. Don't waste your credit on this total junk.

Historia
Buckhead isn’t a place you live, it’s a place you survive. And that applies even to the wealthy housewives that have it all. Fancy cars, designer clothes, and daily salon appointments aren’t nearly enough to keep them fulfilled and happy. Because in this town, privilege and opulence go hand in hand with betrayal and revenge. Jenny, the owner of Glow, an exclusive membership-only beauty salon, knows that better than anyone, because she knows everything about these housewives—down to each individual strand of hair.

Dying to win.
Revisado: 05-18-22
The ladies of Buckhead live by different rules. They die by different rules too.
A light and quick read. Lots of snark and shade with a surprising payoff. Don't think too deeply or you will find all the flaws. Just for fun read. Nice brain candy for the emotionally flawed and dark humored in the world.

Historia
Everyone has secrets, and Rachel Holloway is no exception. She’s worked hard to keep the past where it belongs: dead and buried. And so far, she’s been very successful. But now the small newspaper where she works wants to produce a podcast on a cold case: the disappearance 12 years ago of young Molly Forster. Some secrets should never see the light of day, and, as far as Rachel is concerned, whatever happened to little Molly is one of them.

Riveting
Revisado: 12-20-21
A gripping and suspenseful tale about mental health and deception. Who sees the whole story? Does anyone tell the truth, even to themselves? What lengths will people go to in order to survive a cruel world? Brilliantly narrated story. The reality of how abuse is hidden and kept quiet and how broken and abused children learn to survive. Hiding in plain sight, just like their abusers.

Not her best
Revisado: 07-23-21
Rachel Morgan is in trouble again. However, in this particular addition it seems to be dragged out to extremes. So many half story lines going that it was clear the author struggled to keep track of it all. Almost manically written it hems and haws to a conclusion, but not as fulfilling as previous books.
All your favorite characters are there, it just seems there is a struggle to give depth to them in satisfying stories. The vampiric pseudi rape storylines are so pathetically boring and pandering to the lowest common denominator that I nearly stopped there. Please stop trying to make rape seem sexy, it's not. It's not sexy when it's guy on girl, not sexy girl on girl, it is just NOT sexy! Find a new conflict, please. Giving the books one more shot, but this may be the end of my run with Rachel.

Don't Count Her Out
Revisado: 07-15-21
Rachel Morgan is a broken witch, but she never stops trying. She is always ready to act, but not always willing to think things all the way through. Broken heart healing as she learns to lean a little more on those who care about her and who she can trust and who she can't. Everywhere she goes she makes poor choices and good friends. People can't seem to help but love her for her brash honesty and willingness to learn and grow as a person. Emotional maturity stunted around late adolescence it can be painful to watch her wade through the daily trials of her life, but her adventures and friendships are entertainment at it's finest. Each book brings new discoveries of a past long forgotten and healing for her. Slowly she is learning to rely on those around her. I can't wait for the next book!
