story was decent but the narration has a ways to go before it's ready for mainstream. Also, you should be able to select which voice you wanna hear.

Historia
In 1914, the First World War ignited a brutal conflict in North America, with the United States finally defeating the Confederate States. In 1917, the Great War ended and an era of simmering hatred began, fueled by the despotism of a few and the sacrifice of many. Now it's 1942. The USA and CSA are locked in a tangle of jagged, blood-soaked battle lines, modern weaponry, desperate strategies, and the kind of violence that only the damned could conjure up for their enemies and themselves.

** spoiler**So much for alternative History
Revisado: 08-05-24
Tell me, what is the point of an alternative History if your gonna write a story of America that is literally a carbon copy of Nazi Germany in the Confederate States? All the way down to a Confederate Hitler, SS, holocaust and Hitlers henchmen. IT was great till the last few books when He literally just lifted German History and transcribed it to the Confederates. Even the attempts on the Confederate Hitlers life numerous times. Writers are so lazy with Civil War alternative History, and scared. The South can never be the winner in the end. The whole point is to imagine a History that turned out differently for better or worse.

Historia
Outraged when the US Navy seizes three Confederates aboard an English sailing ship, Britain retaliates by entering the fray in support of the Rebels - and suddenly, it's a whole new war. Once again, cotton is king as the North's blockade crumbles before the might of the Royal Navy. While Lincoln confronts the monumental challenge of vanquishing mighty Britannia, the Redcoats revive their 1812 penchant for burning down American cities, and Union troops see Canada as ripe for the picking.

Alternative History that ends the same as real History.
Revisado: 06-11-24
Seems like every alternative History written about the Civil War ends with the same result. Union wins. It's boring, give us a glimpse of what History would have possibly looked like if it was really alternative. They aren't really alternative if it ends the same as reality is it. The same with Revolutionary war and WW1 and WW2. It's like writers are afraid to write a book where the evil Confederates won. Show some nuts and give us real Alternatives.

A time-travel adventure that just might make you a believer. The Time Machine by H. G. Wells was fun, as was the enjoyable A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle and Jack Finney's delightful Time and Again. If you enjoyed these books, you’ll definitely want to read Mission in Time. However, after reading Mission in Time, this might be the first time you actually find yourself believing in time travel. Imagine being sent on a time-travel mission expecting to arrive in a certain period of time and finding yourself in a very different era—a major period in the history of the United States....

Revisado: 03-03-24
Do we really have to listen to AI narration? That's garbage. We pay enough monthly fee to get a person to read the book. Come on Audible, do you NOT already make enough money that you have to try to skimp by not paying a reader? YOU SUCK AUDIBLE

Historia
Todd Heller is an arrogant ER physician who stubbornly denies the existence of God. A ministering angel forces him back in time to the harsh, primitive culture of ancient Israel so he can witness the miracles of Jesus with his own eyes. Meticulously researched for historical accuracy, this plot is woven into the gospel account of the final year of Christ’s ministry. Christians who fantasize about going back in time to witness the miracles of Jesus will enjoy the realistic depiction of life in ancient Israel as experienced from a 21st century mentality. This novel is the sequel to The ...

Love these kind of stories
Revisado: 02-29-24
This is my favorite kind of time travel book. My greatest fantasy would be to travel in time to see my Savior and King. I'm not a fan of the AI but it's better than a bad human narrator. I'd like to be able to get the first book of this series but it's not on Audible.

Revisado: 10-22-23
It's basically just short stories about sheep. Seriously it's so bad. Save your credit, or don't listen and waste your time and get a refund cause it is that bad. Eric clearly didn't write this book.

Second time listening to this book and I still love it. I wish audible would put up the sequel. I've read all Micheal Heiser's other Non fiction works and they are eye opening as a Christian and a Man of faith.

A contemporary air-sea heavyweight fight...the like we haven't seen since the Pacific War. A routine US Navy freedom-of-navigation patrol in the South China sea turns deadly when it encounters a covert - and unauthorized - Chinese plot to lay claim to waters of the South China Sea. Misunderstanding, miscalculation, and fear lead to both sides mobilizing, with the United States moving west across the Pacific to meet and engage the People's Liberation Army (Navy) who waits with modern weaponry and determined purpose.
