UK version of zombie fallout

It’s ok but kind of boring, maybe it was the narrator or maybe it was story or maybe it’s both. I’ve made it through book 8 but I won’t be going any further unless they make it into a box set because it’s not really worth a credit.

The dead collection?

Where are the “dead”? …..
At the very beginning? Ok yeah there were some
Book 2…. They make an appearance .
I think I just started just book 3 ,possibly 4 but I’m not going to check, its just so boring and tedious I can’t keep going. Whatever book it is they are already being held at gunpoint and this time………………..by cannibals (shocker).
I’m just going to go ahead an return and hopefully possibly find a actual “Zombie” book, Sorry Mr. Maxwell.

Zombies……where?

Second time I’m returning this author. The books are described as zombie books but there’s little actual zombie action it’s all survivor fighting survivor. When there is zombie action it’s “the empty attacked and so so died”. Or the empty’s approached there were gunshots all around” then right on into the next chapter.
Feels rushed, feels incomplete. I’m just going to refrain from purchasing anything from this author.

Storyline is cool if you can get past all the mispronunciations and the non-reflective voice.

Book 1 came out the gate swinging.
Book 2 “we’re together now, the 3 of us” …… coming from a 16 yr old pregnant girl.
Going to go ahead and just skip to the Fred chapters, he’s the only likable character left.

Favorite King novel

So this is either my 4th or 5th time listening, something about this book captivates me. This is undoubtedly my favorite King novel. I definitely would recommend this book.

A zombie romance

Whining -that’s all Sylvia does. If the aim of the author was for the listener/reader to dislike the main character then she succeeded.
I enjoyed book 1, book 2 was ok but book 3 is just words and more words and just so many unnecessary many words. Then when the words are needed she has none - the way Grace and Ellie were written out with about 2 sentences.
I’m sorry this was not a good book and I do not understand why it received so many stars.

I tried, I wasn’ going to finish the series after the narrator change for books 1-6 but by the time I finished listening I changed my mind and decided to keep going (character investment) 7-12 the narrator was bearable so I went ahead to books 13-18 ….. the narrator gets worse! All the characters sound completely different in each chapter, I have no idea which character is supposed to be which. Terrell has his weird accent in one chapter then it’s gone in the next, Noname went from having a gruff voice in book 17 to a overly deep voice in book 18, Coleman now sounds like Noname did in book 17. It’s just so bad I have to stop now it really is too confusing to try to keep up with the constant character voices changes.
I’m actually listening as I type this … guess what? Terrell’s weird accent is back lol
