I thought the story was pretty good…easily rated young adult. the virtual narration was terrible. hard to follow, conversations seemed odd because there was no pausing in the right spot or correct reaction to what was being said. Personally, I won’t listen to another virtually narrated book.

OMG the giggles and fake laughs….TERRIFYING

I have read A LOT of books by Monroe and usually enjoy them but this one is by far the WORST!! Here’s a few examples one if she’s a journalist, don’t you think she would’ve done her research ahead of time to know that he had an ex fiancé. Two, the narrator tells us that she giggles then giggles it’s so distracting. Her voice is fine it’s just the amount of fake giggles, fake laughs and the extra unnecessary information she explains to us constantly that makes this book so long and painful that I can’t even start book 2 to know how to actually ends. Yep? That’s right book one doesn’t give you an ending

The WORST! Main characters are childish and immature, storylines boring and NO, NO romance. This author should be rated YA at best…and that’s being generous. This author is off my list

Sooooo hard to get past bad accents and even harder to get past a boring plot. I’m pretty new to this author; I’ve enjoyed several others stories from her but highly do not recommend this one

Narrator made all male characters sound mentally challenged at best. Tempo made following story hard to follow and painful to finish. I’ll do better at noticing narrator’s name in future and avoiding
