Refreshing. Loved this story. Eli put it down, and Lauren singing a different tune. It was great reading a story about a different couple where the man was not a billionaire with the woman appearing to be helpless and needy. Virtual Voice is Not A Good Thing

The storyline was fantastic, but the narrator's robotic, monotonous delivery and the lack of distinction between the characters' voices detracted from the experience. It was challenging to discern who was speaking. If the characters were voiced by individuals of different genders and backgrounds, or if the virtual voice had more varied tones, the audiobook would have been much more engaging. This experience has left me uninterested in virtual voice audiobooks, and I have no intention of purchasing or listening to another one.
