The book was well written and interesting enough for me that I listened to it all the way through. The author explains briefly her connection to muscle testing and gives a good explanation of how she uses it. This is what I have been trying to understand since I started seeing an herbalist who uses muscle testing. It completely works too! I had seen several excellent gastro specialists who were able to help my condition but none of them were ever able to help my body heal from it! All of the medications prescribed “helped” the symptoms but none of them worked to heal my body. After COVID I started questioning all of it and here I am age 48 and my body feels like it did in my 20s! This author helps me understand how my herbalist has been using muscle testing to help my body heal itself by listening to what nutrients it needs to get the healing process going.

If you’re into natural healing and listening to your body, this is an excellent book.

I’m not a fan of the AI narrator. But I assume they’ll all be like that at some point so I may need to get used to it.

I listen to a lot of Jodi Picoult books and this is one of my favorites. It has one of those surprise moments that totally caught me off guard! As usual I got to know all of the characters and felt like I was on the journey too during the book. This is one of those that you should pick IMO :)

This was a good story that went through a lot of ideas and emotions. I got to know all of the characters and wanted to keep listening to find out what happened next. This one touched close to home because I have a daughter who has a disability and Jodi Picoult told the story well in how it affects the family dynamic and all of the different emotions that go along with it. This is one of her top 5 in my opinion. I really enjoyed it.

This was an easy listen and helpful to hear the details of what it would take in a legal sense to break away from the communist socialists that are currently in office. It’s written well. It’s worth listening to. Something has to happen!

Not a typical Jodi Picoult book

The research that she’s known for was definitely there. However, the story was way too choppy and the characters were not at all relatable. Well except some of the dying clients. The main character was extremely selfish and narcissistic. I had no empathy for the main character or her daughter who seemed like a very rude kid. I did not at all feel like there was any chemistry coming through with some random ex that the main character ran off to see. I love all of Jodi Picoult’s books, except this one. It didn’t sound like her typical story. The Egyptian stuff was so boring. I had to force myself to get through it. Normally she can make almost anything interesting but not in this case. I was very annoyed with the main character and her ex. I still respect the author very much but just want to let the readers know that for me this wasn’t a typical Jodi Picoult book that I’m used to. Some parts were interesting. The death doula stuff was interesting. I’m not returning it. I did listen to the end. But I don’t recommend this one.
