Historia
An ancient derelict yields some unexpected small surprises, and the crew acquires some unusual new crew members. Mee Keralatazaku, the rather troublesome ruler of the planet Kanpripticon, has them take her to a very strange and secretive location. When they return, all hell breaks loose as the Kipitz try to kill Mee Keralatazaku and everyone else on Kanpripticon. She, who must not be annoyed, is now very, very angry.

Historia
Benjamin, Mark, and Chloe were all set to graduate college in a few weeks. Ben had ordered a strange object from eBay to use as cover art for a book he was writing. It looked really cool, like a slightly charred old military artifact from 70 years ago. It was possibly part of an engine. After cleaning it up (it was found in a cow field), he placed the strange device on his dorm room desk directly over the wireless charging port. That woke it up. Unknown to him, the disabled starship hiding on the moon could now communicate with the missing part. The ship needed two things: 1) The missing ...

Decent story concept
Revisado: 03-26-25
I am not a fan of the virtual narrator. The narration was very dry. It was hard to tell characters apart. I liked the story concept, but it was not as developing so far as I would like.

Greatly enjoyed the storytelling. How the main character rises to face the challenges in her life is both inspiring and sad.

Historia
Jace Hughes is a Renegade. That means taking almost any job that comes his way, no matter the situation. So long as he can keep his ship floating, he's free to live the life he wants. But that all changes when he meets Abigail Pryar, a nun looking for safe passage out of the system. Too bad there's something off about the cargo she's carrying. Jace knows he shouldn't ask too many questions, but when strange sounds start coming from inside the large, metal box, he can't help but check it out. Big mistake. To make matters worse, he's being pursued by unknown ships - who want that cargo.

Alex Verus is part of a world hidden in plain sight, running a magic shop in London. But when Alex is approached by multiple factions to crack open a relic from a long-ago mage war, he knows that whatever's inside must be beyond powerful.

Historia
Danny North is the first Gate Mage to be born on Earth in nearly 2,000 years, or at least the first to survive and claim his power, for families of Westil in exile on Earth have a treaty that requires the death of any suspected Gate Mage. The wars between the families had been terrible until at last they realized it was their own survival in question. But a Gate Mage, one who could build a Great Gate back to Westil, would give his own family a terrible advantage over all the others and reignite the wars. So it was decided that they all had to die.

Not the Best of the Mithermages Books
Revisado: 11-26-15
I have loved reading the Mithermages series, and was waiting for the last book to come out. I have to admit, it did tie up the story, but it was not as enjoyable tale as the others. It was hard to think of the main characters as children. I get that what Mr. Card was trying to convey, but we were expecting something more involved adding to the deeper storyline. The first two books were richer on action, drama, and characterization.

Historia
If the past is prologue, then George R. R. Martin's masterwork - the most inventive and entertaining fantasy saga of our time - warrants one hell of an introduction. At long last, it has arrived with The World of Ice & Fire. This volume is a comprehensive history of the Seven Kingdoms, providing vividly constructed accounts of the epic battles, bitter rivalries, and daring rebellions that lead to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO's Game of Thrones.

Good overview
Revisado: 04-14-15
It is a good overview of the world, but a bit boring. Felt like parts taken from the other books and adapted for the TV viewing culture. There was a few new things in there that made it worth it.
