Great ending
Revisado: 07-15-17
What a great ending to such a good trilogy. I know the new performer AB Kovacs has gotten a lot of bad reviews however, I found the performance beautifully done. I would recommend the trilogy.

Hardly a trilogy
Revisado: 07-01-17
The story was, ok. I don't really understand how it can be a sequel to "the butterfly garden" though. I mean, yes, the main character interacts with the other girls a little, just enough I guess to call it a "sequel" I guess, but it's not anything like the other book. Not even close. The book was only okay. Kinda bland.

Historia
Near an isolated mansion lies a beautiful garden. In this garden grow luscious flowers, shady trees...and a collection of precious “butterflies” - young women who have been kidnapped and intricately tattooed to resemble their namesakes. Overseeing it all is the Gardener, a brutal, twisted man obsessed with capturing and preserving his lovely specimens.

Overall great story
Revisado: 06-25-17
I see reviews Tearing this book apart. I have the opposite opinion. I really enjoyed this book and all the performances. This book was so different from what I have read in the past and that is so refreshing. I am now reading "The roses of May", the second book in the trilogy.

Epilogue
Revisado: 01-31-17
This book is amazing I sure do wish you would've left us with an epilogue. That's the only thing that didn't make this a 10 out of 10 story.

Potential, but strongly lacking
Revisado: 01-25-17
I feel like this book had so much potential that needed to be played on. It's almost like the author had a rough draft and idea and then just didn't finish the book. It's like, it could've been great. But instead it's just lacking in every crevice.

Historia
Gemma is the story of a child abduction written from two widely divergent points of view: 12 year-old Gemma and Hazen Wook, the 36-year-old man who abducts her. Hazen is a violent pedophile, a sexual obsessive, and Tilly does not white-wash or sanitize his thoughts in any way. This book is scary and not for the faint of heart.

Great, sorrowful story
Revisado: 01-18-17
9 out of 10.I found this gripping, sorrowful story almost hard to listen to at times. Enduring and powerful at others. Only small issue I had was the ending was so abrupt. If it would have ended better I would've given it a 10 out of 10.
