great
Revisado: 06-23-08
This book is great if you want a entertaining read. At first the goth girl irratated me but the the end of the book she was my favorite character. This was better that Dirty Jobs but it was fun to hear from Charlie Asher and the Emperor again! I laughed out loud at times.

This was the first book of Jodi's I ever read. I couldn't put it down. Only warning for listeners, beware of driving while listening to the last part you wont be able to stop listening but driving while sobbing may be hazardous to your health. Enjoy!

Good listen
Revisado: 03-13-08
I don't know that I would say that this was as good as say "My Sisters Keeper" but it was a good listen. Jodi always does a good job of keeping you interested in what is happening to all the characters. I'm looking forward to "Nineteen Minutes" next as I hear the lawyer is back.

Historia
This magnificent novel by one of America's finest writers is the epic of one man's remarkable journey, set in 19th-century America against the background of a vanishing people and a rich way of life. At the age of 12, under the Wind moon, Will is given a horse, a key, and a map, and sent alone into the Indian Nation to run a trading post as a bound boy. It is during this time that he grows into a man, learning, as he does, of the raw power it takes to create a life, to find a home.

Long and slow
Revisado: 03-13-08
I had hoped it would be as good for the long drive to Alaska this summer but I think the book seemed longer than the drive. Not enough comic relief in this endless saga of not much happening. Rather disappointing.

Historia
There isn't much fun in the sun when a billionaire real estate tycoon is found murdered on the Tilt-a-Whirl at a seedy seaside amusement park in the otherwise quiet summer tourist town of Sea Haven. John Ceepak, a former MP just back from Iraq, has just joined the Sea Haven police department. The job offer came from an old Army buddy who hoped to give Ceepak at least a summer's worth of rest and relaxation to help him forget the horrors of war. Instead, Ceepak will head up the murder investigation.

easy listening

A little hokey at times but an enjoyable listen if you don't want to think. Plot was a little predicatible at times and I had pretty much figured out the ending before I got there but the characters where fun.
