It didn't surprise Nick that he ended up in hell for what he'd done, but he wasn't prepared to follow the rules.

I don't know what I enjoyed about it but I enjoyed it thouroughly. There was something strangely satisfying about this book. Perhaps it was the thought of all those beings who cause harm receiving their just punishment.

The side story with the kid, Henry, for the MMC and when the FMC finally breaksdown make the characters feel more life-like. It wasn't just your typical romance story. This had several types of relationships and love that each had their HEA by the end.

I'm not a fan of the AI narrating so I'm rating this story solely on the story. I loved the idea of this story, especially the supernatural aspect. I have read stories with the word "haunting" or "haunted" on the title and they have no supernatural aspect. This is one of those stories that nearly ties everything up at the end and there are no questions left. These types are needed from time to time.

What I like about this book is that it really helps you look into the mind of a very twisted individual. Considering most of it is based on facts of the case, the author does a good job of merging these facts with fiction. The only thing I didn't like was the narrator but I sped it up and then it was fine.
