Historia
It all started with a plane ride. Just a simple plane ride home…that’s what they said. One that wasn’t supposed to end with me flying the damn thing! But then going home wasn’t supposed to be a bad thing either…well, that was if going home didn’t also meaning trying to hide my new, secret boyfriend. Someone who just so happened to be my father’s old enemy. Well, Lucius had other ideas, ones that included sneaking into my room, reading my diary, feeling me up and getting my panties in a twist about pretty much everything…literally.

Love this series
Revisado: 04-26-24
Love this series as much as Afterlife. The narrator did a better job in this book then the last one but still has a slow monotone voice for the majority. She does distinguish a couple characters better than the last book she narrated in this series.

Historia
Amelia: Lego sets, Star Trek and junk food in my pajamas, these used to be how I would spend my safe and lazy days off. Now, what am I doing with my time? High-speed chases, running from Hellhounds, fighting witches, opening boxes that threaten the entire Vampire race, and stabbing bitches with my shoes. But hey, at least I get to wear a pretty dress on my date. Now all I can hope for is that it isn’t one where people end up shooting at us again. That would be nice. And all this was because I fell in love with a Vampire King. A Vampire King, who claimed me.

Love the story
Revisado: 04-26-24
I love the story Stephanie does an amazing job writing. I love all the books. The narrator has a monotone voice and is so slow. I am pushing through the audio on 1,7 speed just to have her read normal. She reads so slow it drives me insane. She has one voice for all characters. Rebecca rains for for afterlife has a voice for all the different characters and nails pup perfectly along with the rest of the characters.

Historia
So, there were many things I could have done differently. I could have gone on a cruise and forgotten about stealing a killer box from a Vampire King. I could have shaved my head and become a Tibetan monk. I could have also lost my virginity to some nice Texas cowboy who wanted to introduce me to his mother. But instead, I went to Germany and ended up fighting Mercenaries. I also fell in love with a Vampire King who claimed me as his. And now I’m in the river and all because I decided not to just stay home and do my laundry. No, instead...I shot a pilot.

Still Amazing
Revisado: 04-26-24
I love all the character development, the world building, how Stephanie never gives too much away and keeps it interesting and can’t wait for the next one. The narrator does an ok job but no where near as good as the narrator for afterlife.

Historia
It’s been seven years. Seven long years since that cold and cruel Vampire King, Lucius, broke her heart. Her naive little heart destroyed after one painful night when she sneaked in to his Gothic nightclub, Transfusion. Seven years since he humiliated her, casting her aside and telling her just what he thought about her little obsession with him. Then he saved her life. Well, now he is back, and this time he is out for blood, and all she can hope for is that it isn’t hers that’s on the menu.

Amazing story
Revisado: 03-29-24
Loved the story and all the characters. Transfusion is just as good as Afterlife. I loved it can’t wait to listen to the rest. On to the second book. The narrator was good just love Rebecca Rainsford who did the audio for afterlife better. Rebecca Rainsford done an amazing job she nailed the voice for Pip and all the others way better then the narrator for transfusion. Transfusion narrator Marya Freeman is ok she isn’t horrible just not as good as Rebecca Rainsford.

A MUST read for everyone
Revisado: 03-28-22
The last phoenix series book 1-3 by Stephanie Mirro; Narrated by Joanna Roddy is a fantastic story. I couldn’t put it down. It is written very well and tells a great story. This blurb” From book one: They call me a thief like it's a bad thing.
Once upon a time, I was simply Veronica Neill. Daughter, sister, phoenix. But now I’m all alone, and life as an avian shifter and "acquirer of fantastical things" is dangerously sexy and fun.
At least it is until someone beats me to my latest mark, and I'm blamed for a gruesome murder I most certainly didn't commit. Now I've got a choice to make. I can get taken in by the hotter-than-hell agent sent by the Death Enforcement Agency, or wait for my bloodsucking client to realize I've failed at his job.
I don’t like either door, so I'll take the window instead. Time to track down the real killer and clear my name.
If I don’t solve this murder fast, then I might just be facing a lifetime in a grim reaper's prison. Or worse, a lifetime of servitude to my client, a vampire who’s turning out to be far more dangerous than I realized.
from the book made me want to read it and it did not disappoint. Will definitely add this to my favorites list to be re-read again.

A definite must read
Revisado: 03-26-22
I am not being paid for this review I was given this book as an ARC reader to leave my honest feedback of this book Theif of Magic by Bree Moore narrated by Krys Janae. It is a fantastic book. It is the first of her shadowed mind series. I really enjoyed this book it was hard to put down. It has wonderful world building, character development, mystery, magic, adventure, heists, and intrigue.
This blurb from the book Theif of Magic by Bree Moore “She'll steal anything to find the cure for a deadly strain of magic.
Ever since the ancient Ceteri “blessed” Earth’s inhabitants with Thaumaturgy, Lee has been able to enter the Liminal Realm, where she can influence the world without being seen or heard. But each time she uses her magic, it tears her cells further apart. Like a cancer, the magic eats away at her from the inside out.
Fortunately, her ability makes her invaluable to the thieving crew she works for. Unfortunately, the crew is going broke. Lee is determined not to go down with them. She just has to steal enough to buy the coordinates for the Ceteri’s home world and convince them to heal her, even if it means losing her abilities. But when the crew hires on a new bit of muscle to help out with a last-ditch heist, Lee finds herself being tracked and her motives questioned by the crew.
To make matters worse, the FBI is hot on Lee’s trail, and they’re closing in. Racing against arrest and her own death, can Lee reach the Ceteri in time?” Caught my attention and I knew I had to listen to it. The narrator does an awesome job as well. The authors writing is so descriptive and detailed that it comes to life and is easily visualized. This is an urban fantasy and could easily make for a great movie. This is definitely a must read and an author to be added to everyone’s list of authors to follow for more books to read

Amazing Story you won’t be disappointed
Revisado: 02-10-22
Amazing Story received free audiobook to listen and review.
Was slow to start but so worth it. Once I got past the first few chapters I couldn’t stop listening to it. The characters development is amazing the flow between present day and the flashbacks are done so well. The narrator makes the story that much more enjoyable he brought the characters to life and brought out each characters personalities. The story line keep you engaged till the end and wow the ending was amazing and I didn’t except it. It kept me guessing what happened right to the end. The details in the story make it seem like you are there watching it all.
