This book had me enthralled from beginning to end and I recommend it wholeheartedly. The twists and turns had me thinking ahead and at one point I thought to myself “I know who the stalker is!” but i was happily and interestly proven wrong.
It’s not a classic but the link to Alcestis is phenomenal.

Just Perfect

Radclyffe is a hit or miss for me - but this one is a Big hit for me. The story got me emotionally vested in the characters and wanting to know what happens a year or two later. Does Natalie hook up with the Sheriff ? Does Leslie eventually move from Manhattan?
I’m partial to Abby as a narrator but I’ve become a fan of Coleen Marlo. And those sex scenes- Leta just leave it at ... OMG

I’ve come to appreciate Georgia Beers’ stories for what they are: unapologetically sweet and yes, slightly redundant in the storylines. But ... I like them ... really like the simplicity of the stories especially after a grueling day dealing with the stressors that fill all of our lives these days.
And I will keep coming back for more.

OMG just stop ! That sums up my feelings on this narrator. Between the nasal voice and void of any inflection, I couldn’t bear to listen to more than 4 chapters.
The credit used for this for god awful rendition aside, I really wanted to listen to this book since I enjoyed the first one, Ladyfish, so much. But I think I’ll buy the paperback.

Nice lesbian romance with a kick

I wasn’t too thrilled with the ‘American’ accent that the narrator had - it sounded almost robotic. But the story was interesting and after awhile, it didn’t matter.
The book is cute and I was grateful for the sex scene to be kept to the end. I find that most lesbian books keep the story simple but the sex abundant and graphic. I’d rather have the story graphic and the sex kept to a minimum.
Overall a good book and I’ll look forward to the sequel.

Just too much

Let me start by saying this .. I’m sorry and I know that a lot of you love this book and its narration. I could not take more than 2 chapters - the snobbish voice of the narrator was not at all in line with the character being portrayed.
The storyline was good and I’m sure I would have loved it. Get a narrator with a normal persons voice ... please !!

Being prior military during the don’t ask don’t tell timeframe.. and a lesbian, I found this story completely believable and a very exciting storyline.
And Abby is amazing as a narrator!

Addicting

I didn’t want it to end ... wanted to experience more of their lives together . It was an addicting book .. and enticing with the graphic and so real nature of rbeir encounters.
Now I’m looking for more books from Radclyffe !!!
