Historia
After sustaining injuries in Iraq, Chancellor Madaris was told he’d never walk again. Chance credits his great-grandmother Mama Laverne with giving him the will to heal and prove the doctors wrong. He has a healthy respect for her meddling ways and knows he’ll eventually end up next on her matchmaking list. When Zoey Pritchard was eight, she survived a car accident that took the lives of her mother and father, and was sent to live with her great-aunt who refused to speak about her parents. Zoey has no memory from before the crash, but she’s been having the same dream over and over…

Beautiful
Revisado: 04-04-25
I have been waiting for Chance’s story and it was beautiful. I mostly enjoyed the of hearing about the beginning with Mama Laverne, Milton. Waylon and Victoria. This story evoked all kinds if emotions of happiness, sadness, and pissed off. It broke my heart that two individuals so much in love and deserving of a beautiful life together had to suffer because of someone else’s lies, evilness and pride. They deserved so much better.
I’ve always heard of Chance being mentioned in other stories and was thrilled to read his story and glad that Zoe was able to regain her memory.
That Charlotte was a character and managed to keep the hate going on for generations.
I am still puzzled as to why Charlotte’s son attacked Victoria vs Felecia Laverne, I can only assume that was one way to cause Milton pain.
Anyway I truly enjoyed the story. The only reason I gave the story 4 stars is due to the couple not getting their happy ever after life they deserved. Still pissed off at Jansen!!

“You can call me anything you want to call me, but FAT better not ever come out of your mouth when you address me,” Necole. Michelle Necole played about a lot of things, but her weight wasn’t one of them. A true BBW, she was everything other women around her wished they could be. Beautiful inside and out, smart, witty, confident, and amazing to say the least. Thinking so highly of herself and living life with the man of her dreams, her world came crumbling down when she heard him insult her in a way she couldn’t fathom. Learning her life with him was a lie, she walked away in the ...

Revisado: 05-22-24
Thus was one of the worst books I’ve read. It was so many ignorant and stupid characters in this story. I wished Malachi would have left Nicole where he found her, he deserved sooooo much better than her childish and ignorant ways
Justice, Tanisha, Jessica and Nicole should have all moved in together, they all were so ignorant!

Disappointed
Revisado: 03-18-24
This story had so much potential. I was reading each chapter, I constantly awaiting some excitement and action in this story. The
is very boring, the woman narrator was not pleasant, she did not exude enough excitement and action via her voice.
Why did Edward turn everyone life upside down and get a pat on the back and go off in a the sunset to live life with someone else. There was no conversation with Edward and the kids
I am requesting a refund.

Autumn was very determined and aggressive about making it to Mexico and reconnecting with her family. The story left out details about how the police was able to capture them.
The story did not have closure at the ending.

Good Old Henry Adam’s
Revisado: 01-27-24
I like that Mal and Bernadine finally got married.
I did not care for the narrator. She did not portray the characters with any spunk or whit as in the other previous stories.
Also Gary and his wife, nor Gemma seemed to have a role in this story.
I would have enjoyed Crystal and Kelly continuing to build their friendship, however they do not have any lines together. It also would have been nice to bring Eli back for the wedding.
I am glad Brain met his biological father’s family and was floored when Brain put Lil Golden Boy in his place.
Overall still decent story, but not as rewarding as the previous Henry Adam’s stories

I am never disappointed with Ms. Jenkins’ novels. Not only does she presents a beautiful love story; but also provides history regarding what people endured as slaves and their fight for freedom ( so heartbreaking).
Thanks for the beautiful story and history lesson.

Can’t get Enough of Henry Adams
Revisado: 01-09-24
I Jane been in love with the folks of Henry Adams since I read about Cara & Chase Jeffries and Olivia and Neil July.
The Blessing series are beautiful amazing stories. I love how the people of the town support and help each other.
I just wished Gary had a better story. He did not deserve to have his hopes and dreams snatched away by a spoil, selfish, self-centered rich girl and her powerful daddy.
Looking forward to the next one.

Weak Women
Revisado: 12-28-23
I live the characters of the Rose men, they are very loving, attentive and devoted.
The women character is somewhat weak, always staring she is nit worthy or deserving of a certain type of man and showing more weakness and lack of confidence by assuming instead of giving the man an opportunity to explain.
That situation with the assistant did not make any sense or relevance to the story, could of deleted that scene.
I also didn’t d not like his mother was written as being deceased. It’s a fiction, make it enjoyable, not with sadness that can be viewed daily on the local news. Reading should take us romantics to happy places.
I will must likely not read the other brother’s story because I am sure they will also mention the mothers death.

This is thus far the best Valentine’s stories among the brothers.
It was well written and flowed beautifully.
