Historia
Have you ever felt stuck as a leader? What if the one thing holding you back was the very thing holding your team back? Have you ever been overwhelmed by the many philosophies of great leadership? Many strive for a management role, but very few actually get good at it once they’re in the position. Most tend to overinvest in sales and recruiting while underinvesting in developing quality leaders.

An excellent breakdown of leadership in sales and more
Revisado: 01-02-25
I really enjoyed this read/listen. The author does a great job of presenting an easily understandable framework for sales leadership that can extend into general business leadership. The principles taught are not new. They show up in many leadership books, but Nethercott presents them with his own anecdotes and experience so the reader gets a fresh perspective on the principles. I personally took the vision section into how I lead at my company. This book is exceptionally good at teaching the reader how to train sales leaders. It provides a method for analyzing and then improving the author's presented core four leadership areas in your own sales leaders. I highly recommend the read to anyone looking for a good book on business and especially to those who manage sales teams.

Historia
The Reaper is a legend, more myth than man: the savior of worlds, the leader of the Rising, the breaker of chains. But the Reaper is also Darrow, born of the red soil of Mars: a husband, a father, a friend. The worlds once needed the Reaper. But now they need Darrow. Because after the dark age will come a new age: of light, of victory, of hope.

I live the uniqueness of the story and the depth of thought put into the character ideals. They have real struggles. One of my favorites in the series so far.

Historia
In 2010 world-renowned innovation expert Clayton M. Christensen gave a powerful speech to the Harvard Business School's graduating class. Drawing upon his business research, he offered a series of guidelines for finding meaning and happiness in life. He used examples from his own experiences to explain how high achievers can all too often fall into traps that lead to unhappiness. Full of inspiration and wisdom, this book will help students, midcareer professionals, and parents alike forge their own paths to fulfillment.

Serious Reflection
Revisado: 04-01-13
Would you listen to How Will You Measure Your Life? again? Why?
Yes. I think this book has some tried and true principles that one must listen to multiple times to apply.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
There are many ideas from this book that I will remember. The idea that stuck out to me the most was Christensen's resource theory, the idea that we have a limited amount of time and money to dedicate to our priorities. I was startled to see the disconnect between my where I spend my resources and what I believe are my priorities.
