I read this book before listening to the audio. I love how the audio makes everything come alive in away that doesn't always happen when reading the book alone. For me the best part of the book was hearing Andy interact with Simba his cat. I love the building relationship between Andy and Sorcha. The book starts with a dramatic incident and ends with the cutest scene between Andy and Sorcha. I recommend this series and any of the others written by Ginny Sterling.

It took a bit to get used to the narration, however this story is worth it. I love how Lena and Jake grow together throughout the story. All Jake wanted while he was in Ghazni was to be matched with someone to write to as he was seeing all of his battle buddies fall in love around him. But he was told to wait as he had some growing up to do. Lena is the sister of Dr. Bow from the Flyboys series and has her own issues. The two of them meet at Reserve Ranch and become roommates who then become friends and finally fall in love. Listening to the book after reading it just brings it to life. Can't wait for more of this series.

I read this book and then listened to the book. The audio version makes the characters come to life in such a different way. Austin his hilarious and this version of that plays off that silliness in such a great way. I was giggling all the way through the book. The scenes when they are on vacation in Argentina are brought to life so much more with the narration and you can really see Austin's heart and love for his family as well as his love for Sabine. Lorana Hoopes is a great narrator for Ginny's stories. I can't wait for more.

In this prequel to a new series we meet Kyle & Reyna. This is the first book in a new series by Ginny Sterling, there are characters and mention of the Flyboys and Healing Hearts series. We also meet Mrs. Kendall who is an eccentric older woman who is obsessed with the Flirts Battalion. If you are unfamiliar with her books, definitely check them out. This book is a sweet love story from start to finish and the relationship between Kyle & Reyna builds throughout. Kyle is the awkward boy next door who is not sure how to tell the girl he likes that it is her that he wants to be with. Reyna just wants someone in her corner. They also introduce a kitten who becomes their own character as well as the rest of the crew that Kyle works with. Each firefighter will have their own book and can't wait to see how the rest of the series will play out. I loved listening to Lorana Hoopes perform the book. I can't wait for the next one to be released.

This was a great introduction to the series. I loved the younger brothers Alfie and Benji, they create so much fun through out the book. I also loved how Andrew came to change how he looked at the world and especially those who don't follow the rules exactly as he feels that they should. The changes that he makes for himself and how he finally realizes how he feels about Mary. Can't wait to read and hear more from this series.

Took me awhile to get used to the narrator but once I did it was good. Loved the story and the HEA! I was also intrigued by how. much both Gwen and Heath changed by the end of the book.
